Ralfee Finn's Weekly Astrological Forecast for Dec 28, 2011

This week, complex transitions challenge focus and clarity. Don’t be surprised if you feel on the verge. We’re crossing the threshold from one difficult year into another, and as we leave 2011 behind (I heard that sigh of relief), the uncertainty of what lies ahead in 2012 could feel overwhelming. After all, 2012 is a year whose reputation precedes its reality. (Mayan calendar, anyone?) Most transitions tend to be awkward, but this week promises to be more than a little tricky, especially as end-of-the-year expectations collide with beginning-of-the-year actualities.

As always, one of the best ways through a difficult time is to remember that we are all in this collective soup together, and just making an effort to be nice to our fellow travelers tends to neutralize a lot of unnecessary tension.

“2011 ends on a peevish note, as a Mercury/Mars square pushes minds toward gossip and grumbling over what isn’t “right.” Do your best to avoid finding fault with every little thing, especially if you're only being critical out of boredom or dashed expectations. Unfortunately, a Sun/Pluto conjunction, in Capricorn, tilts interactions toward the need for control, which means even casual conversations could easily morph into arguments that insist on agreement.

2012 begins with a wide Moon/Uranus conjunction, in Aries, forming a square to the Sun/Pluto conjunction. Uranus is nearly out of range of this configuration, but the Moon pulls it close enough for us to feel its effect. This is a telling signature for 2012, a year in which we will experience the first two of seven exact Uranus Pluto squares that will occur over the next three years. The entire bundle – Sun, Moon, Uranus, Pluto – indicates a strong need for independence, personal and collective, a need that’s likely to manifest as a stubborn refusal to back down, no matter what the cost. Pay attention: While there is a compulsive quality to this fanaticism, extreme zeal often provides the necessary impetus to deconstruct an existing paradigm in order to create a new one.

But there is something else about 2012 that is less exciting (and quite annoying). Besides being the year that the world ends (just kidding), 2012 is a year of retrogrades. From January 23 to April 13, Mars will be retrograde in Virgo. The first Mercury Retrograde of 2012 begins on March 12 and lasts through April 4, and yes, it does overlap the Mars Retrograde. But that’s not all. Venus goes retrograde from May 15 through June 27. And as if all that review wasn’t enough, nearly three weeks later, on July 14, Mercury goes retrograde again. (Even the goys are moaning “oy.”)

The first half of 2012 unfolds with a “one step forward, two steps back” shuffle, a rhythm that’s certain to drive many of us to the brink. But it is also a pace that can teach great patience – something we’re going to need plenty of in the coming years. So rather than anticipating nothing but hassles, think of the 2012 retrogrades as a necessary backward glance that will allow thoughtful choices about the future.

Astrological Predictions for 2012

There is so much more that I would like to say but I started with the Numerology and the Astrology. I will probably be adding some more specific things but I thought it was important to get some information out there now.

Know that there are moments in time when we can take ourselves to the next level of awareness. You have tools and abilities inside you that may not surface until you need them. When energies get challenging know that you are deeper, vaster, and wiser than you know. Trust your inner self to guide you to those skills and allow them to awaken you to the hidden potential within.

Beginning with the Numerology for 2012.

Numerologically, the year 2012 is a 5.

The Path of 5 is a year of grounding, healing, and teaching. It requires us to be stable, practical, and down to earth. We are to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground and learn to deal with the day-to-day issues with grace and acceptance.

The Gift Number for this year is a 3 and the three is about feeling positive, though sometimes the 3 can feel like a roller coaster ride with its wild swings and intense ups and downs. Again, a good time to practice grounding is when the world is swinging to the extreme.

What is it that you have to share or to teach others? How can you do that in a positive way that is grounding and stable for all those you touch? This is the challenge of the 5 and the 3.

We can do it. The 5 gives us determination and drive. The 3 gives us a good attitude and a willingness to find the doorways. If we can work them together we are unstoppable.

Some of the Astrology from 2012 to 2015.

Let’s talk About the Squares between Pluto and Uranus.

We have survived the holidays and we have finally stepped onto the boat of 2012. It feels as if we are all in for a wild ride, so everyone find a place of center and align with the highest self you can muster inside.

Even if you experience bliss and calm during this time you can be guaranteed that others may not. You might be the one attempting to instill reason into very emotional and upset people, employees, family members, and mates. It will take your skills of communication and clarity to navigate some very muddy waters ahead.

The good news is that Neptune is moving into Pisces on Feb 4th and that should bring truth to the surface for many political situations, as well as personal patterns. Sometimes the truth is a bit shocking, so be forewarned that the waters are going to clear and that will allow us to see with a new clarity and discernment. For some that may feel like a rude awakening. For others it may feel like a relief from all the confusion in 2011.

I personally am looking forward to the lightening of the emotional burdens of 2011. I understand that sometimes we need to be thrown into the pit for us to take a look at the hidden emotional issues that we have buried inside.

2011 was a year to release and open to the realization of all that we had stuffed internally. We needed to do some inner work and find new ways to admit the truth to ourselves about what has worked and what has not worked in our lives. As that awareness unfolded, a tremendous amount of energy also was allowed to flow more naturally.

The result is that now in January 2012, we are feeling more grounded, more energized, and more willing to tackle the issues that are presenting themselves. So even though there is a lot going on, there is an acceptance and a drive to move ahead and forge into the new territories that are presenting themselves. The energy is there because we are not holding ourselves back in the past fears. Those fears came up in 2011 and have been released into a new place of balanced acceptance and trust.

So there is nothing but a new fresh road ahead. That is exciting! It is also a road untraveled. There is an acceptance that we cannot completely see where we are going, but we are going none-the-less. This is now a place where we need to trust our instincts, our skills, our wisdom, and our energy to carry us forward into the unknown.

We are welcoming the new and different into our life for 2012.

Neptune In Pisces – Feb 4, 2012

Lets talk first about the pattern of Neptune moving into Pisces on Feb 4, 2012. Neptune will be in Pisces until 2025, so this is a shift that affects an entire generation. Neptune takes 164 years to make a complete cycle, spending about 13 years in each sign.

Neptune in Pisces will allow a new age of spiritual growth, understanding, and compassion. This is a pattern that will allow people who are great spiritual leaders and teachers to come into this world. In this age we will want to bring harmony and peace and then bring a desire for spiritual understanding and knowledge.

Neptune is also the planet of drugs and pain so I expect there to be great advances in medicine and ways to deal with suffering. With the other aspects I expect to see very practical applications for treatment of existing diseases.

This Neptunian Age will be a time when we will feel and have compassion for social injustices and the huge changes that we are already seeing in the Middle East will continue to unfold.

Neptune is also a planet of confusion and it creates a feeling of swirling/spiraling energy. You may already be experiencing a kind of confusing energy that has been affecting you. You may feel a bit discombobulated or spaced out. It will take all of us time to sort out this energy and learn how to flow with the patterns of fluid Neptune. I expect we will get the hang of it over time. Just know that your patterns of structure and organization my not play out the way they have in the past.

This pattern will soften the intense transits of Pluto Square Uranus from June of 2012 through 2015.

And we are going to need it.

The last time we had Pluto square Uranus was during the 1930’s and the intensity leading up to Hitler and Stalin was no picnic. But this time we do have the mitigating energy of Neptune to soften the forceful push/pull between the controlling, rigid pattern of big government that is Pluto and the freedom-loving desire for change that Uranus brings.

Pluto square Uranus brings turmoil and upheaval. Any planet (like Neptune) that wants to soften that energy is a huge help. This pattern has the potential to bring a newfound awareness while we are breaking down old structures and bringing in the new. You can think of the square as a sharp cutting edge that is painful. Then think of Neptune in Pisces as a balm for those wounds.

Neptune in Pisces gives the feeling of fewer boundaries between all of us. This may create a feeling that we are aching for the whole world, suffering with their suffering. But it will bring a greater awareness and empathy. We may feel a coming together in oneness during times of crisis. We may even discover machines that allow us to see the shimmering energy in matter and to find that there are souls in nature. The expansion of understanding and awareness that Neptune brings is going to be amazing.

The physicist David Bohm said, “All matter is frozen light.” This transit has the potential to blur the lines between realities and allow things that we perceived as solid to dissolve. For some that may be wonderful and for others it may be very disturbing.

Neptune is sometimes seen as the higher octave of Venus. Both planets are about love. Venus rules the feelings that prompt us to be attracted to one thing or another. Neptune’s sense of connection is limitless, much like the oceans, vapors and mists that he rules. His essence permeates the ethers and does so with an unconditionally loving force that surrounds and penetrates absolutely everything. Neptune is unable to divide or separate. Therefore Neptune can unify or dissolve. He can freeze or unfreeze.

The one problem is that Neptune really does not have boundaries. In the black and white world we are presently living in this change can feel very dramatic. Neptune is not accustomed to polarity and may make us feel as if we are wandering around like an alien in a suddenly new world without a guidebook to help us navigate the new territory in which we find ourselves. Neptune’s primary concern is that unity and love are all there is.

We had a taste of Neptune touching Pisces last spring into summer. You might have noticed that we all have become more aware of our illusions, addictions, habits, as well as, our potential creativity that has been inside trying to get out. We are all attempting to become more aware of our addictive behaviors and to view our illusions with objectivity.

So take a look at what the universe is showing you right now. What direction is your soul asking you to move towards? What behaviors or addictions do you need to release in order to move forward?

These are the patterns that Neptune awakens in our awareness.

When the universe opens the doorways and attempts to show us something, sometimes we may not like what we see. It then becomes our responsibility to make choices and alter the events that are becoming problematic so we can create more of what we desire for the next stage of our development.

Neptune wants us to move beyond the tangible, limiting, and physical reality in which we find ourselves. Neptune rules the soul and the illusions of our imagination. This is where tools such as meditation become very important in navigating the watery depths of Neptune. This time will be about discovering our own unconsciousness and making it conscious so we can step into our higher purpose.

As we awaken to our authentic selves (Uranus in Aries), while the society continues to transform (Pluto in Capricorn), Neptune inspires us to look at the direction of our highest selves and our purpose within this reality. This will be a time when the spiritual lessons of your soul will want to be translated into the physical. To do this we are all going to need to dive deep within. This is going to be a long journey, as Neptune will be in Pisces until March 30th of 2025.

Neptune in Pisces does not come with a clear instruction manual on how to do all of this. Only by diving deep within do we come to understand our higher purpose. Then we have to take that information and learn how to navigate the complex pattern of choices in this human realm to find the best creative expression of that purpose. The only clear door is that you will have to let go of any preconceived ideas of the outcome and find a purity of faith within. Then allow that energy to drive all of us forward to find the best possible outcome for the planet.

Neptune was in Pisces over a century ago and one year into that transit, Spiritualism was born. I expect to see a greater interest and expansion in all the intuitive and metaphysical arts during this particular transit.

During the last transit of Neptune in Pisces we also had the period of Darwinism, where traditional beliefs were turned upside down. I expect there will again be knowledge and information that will be quite controversial, forcing us to look at our world in very different ways.

As Neptune in Pisces rules the movies and music, innovations in all the technologies will be mind blowing. I expect to see cutting edge technologies and riveting films, as well as heart-opening musicians, transform our reality through sights and sounds.

Righting social injustices and bringing awareness to the suffering of others will be an ongoing theme. Gender issues will blur and ethnic issues will dissolve as we finally ask the questions, “Whom do these boundaries serve?”

Neptune rules the oceans, so issues surrounding all aspects of water will be in the forefront of the news.

These are going to be fascinating times, in which we will see the expression of the soul awaken. We will see the dissolving of boundaries in many contexts: sexual, spiritual, fiscal, and political. This will be a time for fighting for justice, supporting others in finding the freedom to be heard. We will find new ways to create union, express spirituality, and the expansion of consciousness through movies and music in wonderful and exciting ways.

And remember that with Neptune in Pisces, nothing is quite as it seems.

So let us go on to the next big situation that everyone in the astrological world is talking about, Pluto Square Uranus.

This is a global square aspect that lasts from June 24th, 2012, until March 16/17th, 2015. What makes it even more amazing is that we will experience 7 exact squares between 2012 and 2015. Most of the time meetings between outer planets make 3 exact contacts over about 9 months. But this time Pluto and Uranus will remain in exact square for 3 years.

It is almost an unheard of aspect.

Uranus and Pluto together are ground softeners for change. Pluto erodes while Uranus explodes.

Pluto wants big government and big business to control everything. If Pluto cannot profit in some way from the innovative qualities of Uranus in Aries, then it will try to stop it or block it from coming forth.

Notice the Occupy Wall Street situation.

Uranus wants to say “No!” to everything and anything that will try to limit, control, or degrade. Uranus wants to serve all life through new ideas, inventions, and solutions.

We will probably see the Pluto/Uranus manifest as a war between freedom and control.

No matter what Pluto does, Uranus in Aries is going to usher in an innovative time that will have a profound and lasting impact in all our lives. Its agenda is to upgrade, innovate and aggressively stimulate the impetus towards freedom. Expect to see changes in how society operates.

The Square between these two heavy hitters is one of the most intense aspects because it represents tests and challenges. It causes stress and is highly frustrating, which is interesting because Uranus and Pluto are distinctly non-personal and emotionless by themselves. Yet their effect together is dramatic and deeply felt.

When we add in the fact that we are also in a Grand Cardinal Cross, which has the complete desire to start things anew, mixed with the push and pull from the Square, it will seem as if we are not able to bring about changes fast enough to satisfy everyone. We will strongly want change but feel stymied by the blocked patterns that the Square creates. So try to not get frustrated at governments or yourself as you attempt to make changes. Expect that everything will take more time than you want.

This Square creates such stress that sometimes the only way through is outright revolt and revolutions.

The negative aspects of this Square are:

Popular revolts and rebellions
Corporate, financial, and governmental power struggles
Sudden loss of financial wealth
Unexpected deaths of important individuals
Breakups of long-term friendships and associations
Disturbed individuals becoming more dangerous and violent.

If you are a Cardinal Sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) you will feel a sense of frustration and a need to re-start your life in the areas of home and career. You will also feel a desire to shift your personal and professional relationships.

I am listing all of this because the period of time from 2008 until now has been a warm up for this grand finale from 2012 through 2015.

Let’s admit it. None of us are the way we were before 2008. We have all made huge shifts and our perspective has radically changed.

That is great. Just know that the flexibility you have learned during that time is going to be needed to make this next leap of faith into a much bigger global arena of consciousness.

The best way to face challenges during such radical times is to expect them in advance. Those who will have the hardest time are those who are resistant to the obvious change and want things to stay the way they were.

My motto is to know before you go. I would rather have a heads up as to the patterns unfolding so I can learn to navigate tumultuous times, and I also can learn to not take it personally. Everyone will go going through their version of change during the next three years. So have compassion for others and lend a helping hand when you can.

It is time to choose change, even if you do not know what it will look like on the other side. If you don’t you will use up a tremendous amount of energy resisting.

Clearly the writing is on the wall. We all have been opened and expanded into a new place and reality. Just allow that to continue.

2012 is about a beginning not an ending. The ending was 2008, in case you didn’t notice. This is a time for the power of the people to be heard. This will cause revolt in different places. Corporations and governments will attempt to consolidate their power even as they collapse under their own debt and weight.

And all the while Neptune is going to dissolve the ground underneath the powers that be. It is going to make for an interesting few years.

I know that I was supposed to do a Prediction for 2012 but this is more like a broader prediction from now till 2015.

Intuitive Patterns for January 2012

My first response to pulling these cards for the January Catalyst was, “Oh, my! 2012 is going to come in with a bang!”

It seems the eclipses of November and December will get some big things rolling for everyone and the changes will seem dramatic in January.

Yes, I know that everyone is jittery about the 2012 Mayan Calendar predictions and there are many groups out there that are apocalyptic and looking to 2012 to be the end of the world.

Well, I am not one of those people. So just take a deep breath and lets take this a step at a time.

June 24th, 2012 is the first of seven Uranus/Pluto squares (the last one will be in 2015). This event takes place twice in somewhat irregular 120+ year patterns. The last time this conjunction took place was the 1930’s. If you remember that time, Hitler and Stalin were having an almost hypnotic hold on populations. There were great challenges and people were concerned about the welfare of themselves, their country, and financial issues.

Sound familiar?

So what we need during this time is to have a solid head on our shoulders and to be able to discern with clarity the many actors on this political and global field of play. Let’s not get caught up in the rhetoric of dangerous egomaniacs, as some of our predecessors did in the 1930’s.

We need to look past our need to see danger and drama everywhere. We need to step out of the thoughts that it is them or us. We need to look calmly to the future as to what serves the greater whole of our country and the world. That may or may not be what we want. What we need to choose is what is real, what is doable, and what makes the most sense for everyone and our future.

The fact is that none of us can go back. No matter how much we glamorize the past, the past is over. It is dead. It is unhealthy to live in delusions, regrets, and desires of the past.

Just ask any therapist.

We need to look forward to the potential for our children and our children’s children. They live in a very different world then us. Just look at how technologically advanced they are. They are not interested in what their parents were interested in. Their skill and forward thinking is where we are headed whether we like it or not. So how do we choose with conscious clarity to move forward and create structures and boundaries that allow for creative growth and balance that with some home grown common sense?

That is the challenge that January presents.

Sometimes we just have to let it all go and open to another way or view. We all have opinions about everything. But how often do those fears actually become the reality.

When world and astrological energies are pulling in different directions it tears at the very fabric of reality. The result is often another way opens up right in the center of the old reality that has been torn asunder. There is always a way that we do not perceive with our old eyes. But sometimes we have to let go and break down our old self in order to find that sometimes in rebellion there is a wealth of dreams and possibilities.

It is difficult to not want to grasp at being right. It is challenging to not offer an opinion when you are not sure of the validity of that opinion. It is so hard to practice observation and compassion. Minds love to polarize and show conflict. That is how they keep control. It is mature to observe the dialogue of the mind and not get caught up in it at the same time.

This year is going to bring to the surface the intense disappointments and resentments of your past. But recognize them as past patterns and attempt to not paste the past images of suffering on this present circumstance.

Let go.

Trust life.

Trust that there is something outside of us that has more wisdom and clarity. Allow that to unravel the old and bring in the new. It might be scary. It might bring up past painful memories. But those need to clear and heal anyway. You can waste a lot of energy pushing down the suffering and unhealed emotions within. It is time to let them out for some fresh air.

Let go of the need to be right. Feel the truth of your unhealed emotions. Love them into your awareness and in doing so set yourself and everyone else in your life free.

Sharing a Lovely Quote from Osho

One of my friends shared this quote of Osho on Facebook and I loved it so much I wanted to share it again. Thank you Lokita!

"Only through acceptance does one start cooling down. One becomes more collected and centered. When you accept, tensions are dropped. In acceptance is relaxation. In relaxation it is possible to turn in, and in relaxation it is possible to turn out. Both become smooth. Easy is the flow. You can go out and meet the other, and you can come back and meet with yourself. One day you will be surprised to find that the one who is in and the one who is out are not two. And when you go out, you go to your own outside, and when you go in, you go to your own inside. That 'in' and 'out' are sides of you.
This whole existence is a universe -- that is the meaning of the word 'universe': it is unity. It is not a multi-verse, it is a uni-verse. But that universe will be revealed to you only at the very peak of meditation and love."

Ralfee Finn's Weekly Astrological Report for Dec 7-13, 2011

Here is Ralfee Finn's latest Weekly Astrological Report. Enjoy.

The world goes even more topsy-turvy this week, as a series of planetary events, each with differing time signatures, makes it nearly impossible to find a comfortable personal pace. Don’t be surprised if you can’t catch your breath between the rise and fall of crises big and small – and I’m not just talking about the stock market. The planets are so busy this week, and each astral presence is so strong, that even the non-believers might be inclined to believe there is a connection between heaven and earth.

Here’s the skinny:
(1) Early in the morning on Saturday, December 10, Uranus goes Direct. Pay attention. We always experience a “bump” in the ethers when Uranus, the representative of startling plot twists, makes a “course correction.” The days prior to this turn around are certain to be uncomfortable, if only because Uranus always affects nervous systems. Don’t be surprised if you or those around you are experiencing high anxiety or disturbed sleep patterns.

(2) On that very same day and only a few hours later, there is a lunar eclipse, with the Sun, in Sagittarius and the Moon, in Gemini. During a lunar eclipse, conscious concerns override unconscious ones. Eclipses tend to distort time, so put aside any expectations that any of your plans will go smoothly. (Then you can be pleasantly surprised if they do.) Also be prepared for emotional tides – yours or others’ – to run much higher than usual, even for this time of year. (Think: “flood zone.”)

But that’s not all.

(3) Mercury goes direct on December 13. Normally, the last few days of Mercury Retrograde slow to a crawl, but because Uranus will be gaining forward momentum, the end of this retrograde is going to be particularly eccentric. Translation: Regular routines will take on peculiar rhythms. One minute it’s “full speed ahead” and the next, it’s “step on the brakes.” Try not to get confused, and most importantly, be patient with yourself and your fellow travelers.

(4) In the midst of all this astral activity, the Sun/Mars square that’s been turning tempers more than a tad testy is finally separating, and as that fractious interaction ends, many of us will find it easier to be kinder to ourselves and to each other.

Fortunately, a Saturn/Neptune trine, fosters foresight, and for those who need it, restraint. The mantra for this Saturn/Neptune trine is “Cooperation. Consideration. Collaboration,” a refrain you might want to substitute for the seasonal “fa-la-la-la-las.” Chant it often, especially on days when you think you’ll just melt down in antsy frustration or anxiety. Also, use it in dealing with others who may not be as kind as you. Remember: Each one of us has the power to change the world through simple acts of heartfelt charity and care for our fellow travelers.

Top Five Regrets of The Dying-December 1, 2011 By T Kelly

I had a friend on Facebook that found this. I thought it was something to share.

Top Five Regrets of the Dying

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.

People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learnt never to underestimate someone’s capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

Ralfee Finn's Weekly Astrological Report for Nov 30, 2011

This is one of my favorite astrologers. I thought this was particularly interesting this week. I hope you all enjoy it.

Ralfee Finn's Weekly Frequency http://aquariumage.com/vibration.html
November 30, 2011

The only way I know to express the astral intensity of this week and the next several weeks is to modify that old cliché: “Fasten your seatbelts. It’s going to be a wild ride.” And while you may think that I am exaggerating, over the course of the coming days and nights, as emotional tides rise to higher-than-usual holiday levels, you’re more likely to think that I was underestimating the intensity. As families and friends gather to celebrate a variety of festivals that began with Thanksgiving, and will crescendo with the solstice (in all its iterations, from the actual day of the return of the light to Hannukah to Christmas to Kwanza) and ends with the New Year (which is also solstice-related), deep-seated and long denied feelings are likely to surge through the festivities, adding new depth to the meaning of “dysfunctional.” (I’m tired just thinking about it.) Be prepared for meltdowns, as well as a wide range of declarations, some pronouncing independence, and others proclaiming revolution. The best way to ride these planetary waves is to remember the underlying message of the season: Peace and goodwill.
Several sources contribute to this week’s complexity: First, we are in the wake of a solar eclipse on November 25 and headed straight for the swell of a lunar eclipse on December 10. So don’t be surprised if the world continues to wobble. The eclipse effect is often felt before and after the actual events, which is why they are believed to distort time. Add in Mercury Retrograde, and that time distortion is off the charts. This is the final Mercury Retrograde of the year, which means some of its review is going to include looking back on the details of twelve months of unbelievable shifts, personal and collective – a review, by the way, that is completely appropriate for this time of year.
Unfortunately, the frustration of the retrograde is going to collide with two equally potent configurations: A Venus/Pluto conjunction stimulates everyone’s need to have it their way, especially when it comes to love. The signature of this conjunction is fanatic love. So don’t be surprised if you become obsessed with someone or something. And while passion is always a good thing, Pluto often insists on having its desires acknowledged. And given that we are also in a Sun/Mars square, the inclination to push to have want we want is also going to be off the charts. A square between the Sun and Mars tends to incline dispositions toward being hasty, restless, and irritable. (I won’t make my joke about those Disney dwarves just yet.) As that hot-blooded wind coalesces with the insistence of Pluto/Venus and the “detail fatigue” of Mercury Retrograde, many of us are likely to be more than just a tad testy.

I realize you might get tired of the constant reminder to “play nice with the other children,” but given the escalating existential anxiety about our personal and collective situations, making kindness a constant companion through this holiday season is still the wisest possible choice.
