1/16/19 is the number 11/2. Some days it just seems there is too much to do and too much on your plate. This might be one of them. Make a plan and stick to that plan to the best of your ability. Things will try to push you off center. Nothing will go exactly according to plan. That is okay. Some days it is better to expect the unexpected. Today is a day to be the diplomat. Seeing all the sides, while difficult, can be the best solution. Often others need to be heard first. So much of our world is not listening to each other. That is because of the extreme positions that seems to be the norm. This number is about those extremes. Love and hate, joy and sorrow, rich and poor. This is a dualistic world and you are that duality inside whether you recognize it or not. The Tarot cards that reflect this number are the Moon card and the High Priestess card. Both have to do with the unconscious and intuition. Both say that you are more than you present on the surface. And what is below will always come up when you least expect it. If you are irresolute and indifferent, then you need to take a look at your opposite side. If you are always Mr. or Miss Happy you need to take a look at what you suppress inside that you have deemed unacceptable. You cannot be fully intimate if you do not have access to the wisdom of both. And both do have wisdom. Even when you don’t want to look at what the other side is attempting to tell you.

Astrology Today

It would be great to say that this week runs smoothly because the astrology is not attempting to stir the pot more than it already is. Problem is that the waves are a bit high already and the storm is still clearly storming. So perhaps it is best to say that no more is getting added in of great consequence. But pressure is still pressure and that can make you snap just because it does not let up.

Take a look at what you might be holding onto that is no longer supporting your present growth direction. Just because it is something familiar and that you have done before will not mean that it works now. This is the Sun's alignment to the South Node of the Moon today.

I know everyone is seeking clarity, you may get a window into areas of your life to which you cling too closely. That is not always a workable solution. I know that you have made backup plans for those moments that are continuously happening that you wish would stop. But when you make too many strict standards that also will not work in this watery, frozen world that we are presently living in.

What seems to be up is less about putting more energy into your external world responsibilities but to instead deal with the inner emotional needs that are up. It is possible that you may need to feel what you are feeling to get to the bottom of this situation. Clarity comes from being willing to get honest with yourself about your present situation.

The Moon is in Taurus till later this evening when it moves into the more curious sign of Gemini. So most of the day, attempting to find that stability is a priority.

Then the Moon in Taurus harmonizes with the Sun and promotes a more cooperative environment and makes you focus on your practical and financial goals now.
