Introducing Astrologer, Christopher Renstrom, to Salt Lake City, UT

Now even though Christopher Renstrom has been in Utah for a while I recently have had the opportunity to take some astrology classes from him through the summer and now into the fall. Anyone interested in really learning astrology from a wonderful angle of perception is encouraged to have a personal session or take a class from him.

His approach is based on what your ruling planet is rather than your sign. This gives a whole new look at your life and how you relate to your world.

I have played and dabbled in astrology for a long time and I find his teaching and information absolutely fascinating and informative. I love it when someone has more information than I do about subjects, as I am such a book mouse.

More About October 2010

Is everyone getting tired from all this intensity? Do you feel as if you are as far off the edge as you can go? Well you are not alone. This particular energy is pushing everyone right up to the breaking point, whether that is internally or externally. Perhaps you may feel it both ways. All these astrological patterns are forcing us to look at new ways of perceiving and seeing. The financial stress is going to make ideas that seemed totally unreasonable a while ago, seem suddenly tolerable.

This will herald the government scrambling to find new ways of increasing revenues and taxes that do not hit in ways that will cause revolt. Ironically taxing marijuana may be the answer as the astrology indicates radical choices will be made in an attempt to attempt to stop the bleeding of money and the unbelievable economic debt.

Regardless of the personal challenges when Venus goes retrograde in Scorpio from Oct 8 through Nov 18, 2010 you will see the intrigues and betrayals felt by those of different perceptions manifest in a huge loss for the Democrats in the midterm elections. But Republicans don’t count your chickens before they are hatched. This pattern during the election causes challenges for anyone who is suddenly in a place of power. Everyone will feel hit by this pattern. It will be interesting to see what that actually means in the long-term process for the government.

Unfortunately, the full recovery will probably not happen until the end of 2011 into 2012. So keep you money in safe places and be wise in how you handle debt.

The September 11th controversy over the mosque close to Ground Zero will also heat up again under the Venus Retrograde pattern Oct 8th. Expect it to get very volatile and the situation will be anything but neutral.

Intuitive Patterns for the Month of October 2010

Just like a black and white horse pulling a chariot into battle, we are all going to experience the polarities that this month’s pattern will create internally and externally. The black and white horses represent the pull between our logic and our emotions, our passion and our reason. In a battle, two such horses are not in total harmony, yet they are under the driver’s control. In situations of chaos it is often less confusing to follow someone’s strong lead. Yet, for us to relinquish the control and to trust, we must be able to feel a person’s skill, intent, and intuition during times of stress and turmoil.  This month will be a test to see if you hold the power and skill to balance the dualistic energies within you and allow you to find a pathway through the battles that are being presented in your life.

This month it would be wise to know that you have both a black and white horse within you that are under tremendous strain. Your passion and reason are struggling to find a balance in a tumultuous situation and are looking for the part inside you that is strong enough to lead. This will require a conscious effort on your part to reign in your own internal conflict to accomplish the task at hand. You may find yourself controlling a situation with many conflicting sentiments. The only way through it to know that through perseverance and strength of will you will overcome the obstacles in your path. If you let your passions control, you will fail. If you let your reason control, you will also fail. Only together by choosing to remain focused and to keep your own emotions in check will you find the pathway through the present impasse.

Courage and ambition are good things but they must be balanced with reason and fair play. You may find that your competitive nature wants to rise to meet the challenge. Just check to see if your aggressive side is in check or hiding a deeper fear or insecurity. It is always more pleasant to feel powerful than frightened. And both may be true. This is really about becoming conscious of your patterns and habits of behavior.

Avoiding making a choice at this time is a sign of a part within you that is immature and fears taking responsibility. When you are unable to make a difficult decision it will cause others to loose faith in you. At this time that pathway would be unwise.
The astrological patterns at this time can create delays and postponements. I find that when I know that then I do not try to push situations but I allow for the awareness and additional information to come into me through the process of the delay. There is always a reason for delays. They can be very frustrating and aggravating but there is often a new awareness that you will discover if you allow the universe to show you.

Regardless of the situation and circumstances, regardless of your history and past, know that completion is on its’ way to you. The isolation you have been feeling is coming to an end as you are resolving the duality within you. Take a moment and be in joy at the journey that has gotten you this far and has propelled you to this present level. This process has allowed you to become more authentic and to break through old fears and sorrows to claim your gifts. Now, it is time to give them to the world.
