The financial stress is going to make ideas that seemed totally unreasonable a while ago, seem suddenly tolerable.

This will herald the government scrambling to find new ways of increasing revenues and taxes that do not hit in ways that will cause revolt. Ironically taxing marijuana may be the answer as the astrology indicates radical choices will be made in an attempt to attempt to stop the bleeding of money and the unbelievable economic debt.

Regardless of the personal challenges when Venus goes retrograde in Scorpio from Oct 8 through Nov 18, 2010 you will see the intrigues and betrayals felt by those of different perceptions manifest in a huge loss for the Democrats in the midterm elections. But Republicans don’t count your chickens before they are hatched. This pattern during the election causes challenges for anyone who is suddenly in a place of power. Everyone will feel hit by this pattern. It will be interesting to see what that actually means in the long-term process for the government.

Unfortunately, the full recovery will probably not happen until the end of 2011 into 2012. So keep you money in safe places and be wise in how you handle debt.

The September 11th controversy over the mosque close to Ground Zero will also heat up again under the Venus Retrograde pattern Oct 8th. Expect it to get very volatile and the situation will be anything but neutral.
