Today is the number 8. We made it to August! Yea! We are in the time of Leo and the Sun is warm and you can feel the hint of a big shift in the air. So much is changing in the stars and this is a day to reflect on the upcoming change and grieve that the past is past and it is time to let go and allow for a shift to happen. Yes, I know that you want things to remain the same but they are not going to. You need to wrap your mind around the fact that it is time to enjoy the past reality that has been your life and allow for a new pattern to show you that life is not over, it is just shifting to reflect the new reality that is becoming your world. So today you might shed a few tears, so let it out and let them flow. It will be okay. This moment is not a failure. It is just another ego death that will allow you to evolve into your next best self. The Sun forms a quincunx with Neptune this afternoon, and it can be difficult to concentrate and to formulate clear goals just now. Misconceptions abound. Fear of being ineffective can undermine your confidence when it comes to making clear or definite decisions, and for doing new things. However, with Saturn coming to a station, reality is setting in! I would like to thank all those who came to the “Shades of Intimacy” Workshop this last weekend. It was so wonderful to see everyone leaning into his or her edges to discover how to connect the passionate sides of their heart and to bring that back into their intimacy. This work is a passion for Jason Smith, Jennifer Stanchfield and myself. Magic happens when you learn to connect your upper chakras with your lower ones and chose to be fully present in your body. I watched the men step further into their masculine hearts and discover the power of having a connection to other men to support their understanding of their inner potential to open their feminine partners to greater emotional expression. And I watched the women work through their suppressed emotions and step more fully into finding ways to express their sensuality in a playful way that allow them to learn how to keep your man’s attention and to rediscover the natural flow and power of the Divine Feminine. Thank you everyone for trusting us with your deepest self and your most cherished intimate truth. We look forward to the continued journey to bring the latest tools and information into our work. Last summer I gave myself the gift of going to a reunion in Berlin with the dancers from that I worked with from the time I was 17-21 years old. It was so wonderful to connect again to those who helped form my life, personality, and creative expression. It is amazing to have that priceless opportunity to once again, see, hear, and appreciate the huge hearts that were and still are so important to my life. Being with them once again, laughing, and hearing the ring of their voices, humor, and seeing the bright smiles on their faces instantly transported me back to another time and place where my life was a constant challenge but also magical in every way. Their voices and presence were a magic carpet ride to another time and place. And I forgot how much I missed them all. Today, create some more memories that give your life depth and meaning. I look back in my life and I see how much time I wasted in perpetuating fear and not being willing or actually knowing how to let the beliefs go and just allow what feels right for me to be okay and acceptable. Once you let go you see the ridiculousness of your inner argument. Fear or what others think is always a big one. Fear of not being accepted is another one. Fear of being your full self with no apology is challenging. To own what you love, what you feel, who you love, what you want, and how you choose to dress, behave, and act is actually very challenging. Most of us live our life moving through the social protocols and acceptable behaviors that our culture expects. It can be terrifying to just dress, act, and be what is true for you personally. Now you are not to do that in a “F**k you!” way but in a way that it is true for you and you know who you are and content to be in the flow of your true self. Today, give it a try. Dress in a way that pleases you. Not in a way that you feel pressured to dress. Move and speak in a real and authentic way rather than in a way that keeps you within the realms of social acceptance. Laugh a little too hard and loud. Speak up when you believe someone is saying something inaccurate or distorted. Once again, this weekend I have learned the gifts in that art of acceptance. Acceptance comes when you know yourself and your authenticity can just flow unguarded and unfettered by the mind’s beliefs about how things should go. I had a house full of people for my husbands 60^th birthday and it was a dance to navigate a full house, all the meals, and the dynamic excitement and interaction. I realized that I have come a long way because my ease and flow allowed all the other women to find their flow and we worked together in a dance of chaotic creative feminine expression. Planned meals turned into masterpieces and feasts. Communication turned into deep authentic sharing and treasured connections being found, re-connected, and experienced. It was an elegant movement of alignment and the honoring of each woman’s gifts and expertise. Instead of the weekend being difficult it was a joy and a blessing in each moment. How can you have 3 days of perfection? Just step into your authentic flow. Allow others to do the same and watch miracles unfold.
