Today we are in the number 5. Yes here we are again in the number 5. Seems like the universe did not believe we got that message so we are in the cosmic repeat. The message is to keep your feet firmly planted in the here and now. Saturn wants us to “get real”. Yes, dreams are important but it is also important to be in the here and now also. You cannot manifest the dream if you do not know where you are right now. Only from this position of the present can you determine the proper steps to take to move towards the dream. We all love to live in the possibilities but if you are not in this moment you may miss the signs and signals that will allow you to live life fully and from the place of wonder and enjoyment. This morning, Mercury sesquiquadrate Pluto suggests a rather suspicious way of looking at the way things work. If others are not agreeing or adopting your ideas, you may take this as a personal affront. Instead of getting where you want to go directly, you could take a roundabout route, and could be tempted to manipulate others now. The Moon is in Libra all day, harmonizing with Saturn but also clashing with Uranus and Pluto. These influences reinforce a sense that you have to either manipulate or coerce in order to get your way. By tonight, you tend to see things more intellectually, and problem solving is favored.

Today we are in the number 5. Feel the earth in all its wonder. Taste the nectar of your particular life with all its bitterness and sweetness. Hear the songs of the land and air as they speak in the secret language of time. And see with wonder all that is offered in each and every day forward. Be in the magic of the senses and the number 5. Be of the earth but practice non-attachment to the earth. You are resourceful, versatile, and in gracefully understanding with all of life. Step lightly upon the earth today. It is a day of earth, life, and the unknown. Be not afraid. You are protected. Let life’s choices play with you in subtle ways. The Moon is in Virgo all day, encouraging a sense of belonging and emotional satisfaction in doing your part or providing a service. Always appreciate the moments that are in this Now. There are infinite shifts in direction that can affect all of us. We are temporarily in this body to experience and journey though a particular configuration of karmas and experiences. I remember years ago when I was in my 20’s I asked the guides, “How long am I going to live?” Their answer was, “When you connect to the people and experiences that you agreed to connect to, when you have given the gifts that you wanted to share with others, and when you have loved as deeply as is possible in this life then you get to go home.” So today, live and love as fully as you can. Be one with the flow of life all around you. Share your gifts without hesitation with others and don’t be afraid to connect deeply with as many as you can.

Today we are in the number 22/4. Only by understanding the limitation that is mind and ego (the 2 and 2 of the 22) can you find inner peace and transform the mind into a servant of the soul (the number 4). All things of the physical world are limited. That is because they are born of the rules of earth and those rules only apply here in this place and time. But you are more than that. You are born of starlight and stardust. Your way of moving beyond this place begins with following the heart. The heart is more than emotions and more than feeling. The heart is the gateway to the souls yearning and expression in this dimension. The true heart is not about neediness or what you want or yearn for, it is about the calm voice of love that accepts from a place of neutral awareness and transcends the limitation of conditional love and allows you to move into the unconditional realms of the energy being that you are. I just wanted to send love to the people of Nepal. I am looking at the synchronicity that the great Stupa was still standing in the middle of all the suffering and rubble. Take a look at where your world is being shaken apart. What is being destroyed and what remains standing? What remains is what is of the most value. Just like that Stupa, it is your spiritual life that keeps you going in the face of chaos, insurmountable odds, fear, and the karma that tries to break your spirit. Never let anything, anyone, or any circumstance break your spirit. That spirit is what allows you to transcend the circumstances of this life into wisdom. There are gifts in everything. Even the bad things have amazing tools to give you. Yes, you might have to look hard. Yes, you might have to search long and hard to discover the gem in the mud of your karma but there is always one. Don’t give up. Believe in yourself. Outcomes do not matter. What matters is whether your heart stay calm and intact with love for all of humanity.

Taking this time and moment to feel into the solidness of pain can be comforting if you let it. As Yoda said, “Difficult to see. The key word today is “Universal Service”. The first step is to be willing to show up when you feel called in some way to touch others. Learning comes in many ways. Often in ways that you wish you did not have to learn. In doing many past life regressions I have discovered that at least for myself, many of the people that have challenged me in this life are often those closest to me from other lives. It is as if they love me so much that they are willing to take on the position of the “bad guy” in order to help me grow. They are willing to take on potential karma to support me in breaking through a habit or a behavior. So when something happens that you are triggered by, stay open to the fact that there might be a much bigger picture happening than the one right in your awareness at this moment. See all of those people who have had a significant impact in your life as spiritual family.

Today we are in the number 10. Every day can be a new beginning. What would you like yours to be? There is great power in being able to begin again. There is great power in letting go and trusting the flow of life. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 9:14 AM EDT, when it enters Leo. The Sun semi-squares Chiron this morning, and while you may be hungry to learn, grow, improve, and heal, you may be temporarily low on confidence and worried about making poor decisions. A First Quarter Moon occurs this evening when the Sun in Taurus forms a square with the Leo Moon. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as you feel compelled to take action. We have made it to the Month of the Wild Women Symposium. I hope some of you lovely ladies will join us for the adventure and exploration into your Divine Feminine. It will be May 29-31, at the Salt Lake Community College, Miller Campus.

Mercury will be in Gemini from May 1-July 5 giving you a doorway to open pathways of communication that can help you more forward in your life. For some of you those may be in a work area but for others you may expand and learn communication with the deeper aspects of your self. Mercury goes retrograde from May 19-June 12 so it is an excellent time to fix patterns of communication that have caused problems or misperceptions in the past. Sometimes it is all about saying, “Your sorry” or that you have a new awareness that makes the past communication no longer applicable. Regardless you will want to remain calm and clear in all potential areas that require clear understanding and those around you to feel your heart and the deeper intention of what you want to accomplish.

Everything this month is about changing out of the old and discovering a deeper old that is surfacing in a new and vitally alive way. This is a month of self-empowerment that is experienced through choosing to create profound and powerful anchors of calm resolve in the midst of the present storms that surround you. It is time to replenish your life force by discovering ways to retreat and cultivate quiet.

Safety is the key to being in a place of inner calm. If you may notice that there is a place where you are feeling as if you tank is tilting into the empty level. Sometimes you have to drop into a place of retreat in order to see that you have been burning the candle at both ends and you need to have a much-needed break to recharge your batteries. This month the gifts that you are seeking require you to not push but to permit. Permission comes from loving yourself more than the desire to accomplish an activity or goal.

When you push you can create resistance inside that does not allow for a full and deep interaction with your deepest self. When you are trying to access the higher vibrations it requires an inner calm.

The Jaguar energy is asking for you to move from a place of integrity and impeccability. You have behaviors that are no longer appropriate and your integrity can no longer live with the present expression of your essence. You will notice where you have abused authority or have judged another. It is time to step into a place of forgiveness to yourself and others and make the necessary corrections that keep what you are doing and your creation in balance with your spirit. You are stalking about inside your inner domain seeking that which has eluded you up until this moment. But with the power and intent of a Jaguar at the moment you find it you must leap upon it without hesitation. There are moments where the door is open and what you seek is right in front of you. If you decide you are unworthy you may hesitate and if you do that you will miss an opportunity that may not come around again.

This month there are places that you must be willing to go into alone. That does not mean you cannot have support but the choice will be yours and yours alone. This is how you discover your power and learn to have confidence in your own personal journey. Jaguar allows you to journey into the places of dreams and magic. These are places that others cannot follow you but where you will discover guidance along the pathways to your inner sanctum. You are being asked to deepen into what you already know and discover hidden doorways and treasures that you did not know existed when you first ventured into this place.

The Universe is conspiring to bring you something that you have been yearning to discover. It will be up to you to decide if you love yourself enough to allow it in. In this moment you cannot count on others being able to save you so you are going to have to be self-reliant and find the truth and integrity within your core that will help problem solve the situation and achieve a result that will work. The challenge is that the choices that seem correct will all take time and there is an emotional impatience today that wants balance but feels caught between forces so strong that you feel as if you are caught in a washing machines spin cycle. Just relax and let the emotions move through you. There is a breakdown necessary now for your transformation. Today my joy is in making sure all the beautiful hummingbirds have their sugar water so they have the energy necessary to keep traveling north up the coast of California or choose to stay and have their babies in my Manzanita trees. Look out and see beauty springing forth with all the life that nature is mustering forth for you to see. Appreciate the life that you have chosen and gift something back to that life. All small acts of kindness are noticed in the bigger picture. Every time you give from your heart and show love to those outside yourself or appreciation for beauty that is in nature, something is hearing you and listening to you. Let those conversations in. Today we are in the number 7. With this number 7 it is time to look ahead and plan a strategy for this amazing life of yours. It is time to analyze what is working and to streamline certain patterns and get serious about your future. Remember that you can do anything that you set your mind to. It is time for an evolutionary leap into a new pattern that will give you in the long term what you really want. That may mean that it is time to be more conservative with your money so you can plan some financial steps for retirement. It may mean that you can see that you need more skills and perhaps need to go back to school. What ever is pressing upon you, pay attention. The timing is now and Saturn is teaching you what it is that you are going to need to move towards those long term goals. With Mercury in Taurus till April 30th it will help us keep our thinking grounded and stable. Common sense in communication is the rule for right now and the attention is on one thing at a time. Be careful of rigid thinking and being overly conservative. With Venus in Gemini till May 7th you will have a curiosity that is motivating your social and relational choices. We cannot really look at the deep patterns if we do not feel safe. That is why monks and nuns are taken care of by religious orders or churches. You cannot teach higher philosophy to a person who is staving. You cannot teach compassion and values if someone does not feel loved. Safety and love and essential tools for having the foundation to reach to higher levels of consciousness. Today, love others and believe in them. Your faith, love, and inclusive compassion gives them the opportunity to see their own success through your loving eyes. Sometimes that is all you need to be willing to risk, try something new, and discover your hidden potential.

Today we are in the number 6. Even though the Moon is in Gemini all day, stimulating your curiosity. There is a push pull between the inner world and the outer reality. You may feel that you are more aware of patterns from your life that are no longer serving you. You may want to dive deep into the inner world to understand and explore. But the astrology is calling for you to come out of that hermit cave of the number 6 and get you to actively take steps to shifting not just the inner but the outer world. To be a master of your own self you have to be reflective but even more you need to be able to take action. That is why today, Mars forms a trine with Pluto forcing you to focus on your goals, to take decisive action, and to go after what you want with a greater sense of your priorities. You are willing to explore alternatives rather than simply relying on the tried and true. You are not afraid of a challenge and are willing to attempt to overcome obstacles. Light illuminates and light also burns away delusions, beliefs, and distortions that we have taken on as truth. So many of us say that we want to be the light but then we sabotage our reality with feelings of unworthiness and pull ourself back into the quagmire of limiting thoughts. I have watched clients with beautiful souls that were addicted to one thing or another become so obsessed with darkness and the world of delusion that they cannot help but be attracted to wandering the streets at night to watch the people who are skulking about in the darkness and the corners of hidden secrets. In this case they are more fascinated with their own shadow and darkness than then are attracted to the light. Regardless the light still shines in shadows and eventually all of us move towards the light. Self-discovery is that fire that burns within and that light will illuminate all your darkness and it will show the falseness of your most cherished beliefs. After all, in the darkness you cannot see the cheapness and fake fabrics of your illusionary world. But when you bring the brightness of your spirit fully into the moment and into that darkness, the truth of the false self appears as obvious as a playhouse at a Carnival. You are more than this false self you keep feeding and keeping alive. Let the light of your true self show you the magnificence of who you truly are.
