SEX, LOVE, INTIMACY, AND RELATIONSHIPS WORKSHOP

I will be teaching a Sex, Love, Intimacy, and Relationships workshop on April 18-19, 2009 in Salt Lake City.

As a psychic, you can image how many people come in with questions about love and relationships.

In being human, love is primal need and experience that each of us want to feel. But we can only feel to the depth in which we feel safe.

Yet love is also a huge conflict in our life. It is one of the great mysteries that though love we get to experience some of our greatest joys in life. But is also the source of our deepest fears, biggest wounds, most profound yearnings, and greatest growth.

Everyone wants to feel loved and know how to give love.

Intimate relationships require us love our self but to also grow and learn how to love and open others. Learning to let others in and learning how to share your deepest self is tremendously challenging. More stories, music, poems, paintings, sculpture, and art have been created to express the passion and depth that we feel when we are in love.

But all forms of art take practice to master. Learning to master the art of intimacy is no different. It requires that you have some form or structure in which you feel safe to begin the journey. Then it requires you to learn how to feel into each other’s hearts and deepest yearnings.

This is no small feat. Love is a constantly changing landscape that is never completely mastered and always calls us to reach deeper within to touch and learn to love parts, reflections, and aspects that we see in each other.

We are beings of light and spirit but we are also beings of passion and life force. The conflicts in life are often about the extreme juxtaposition between those two sides. We want to be pure beings of light and love but then we have to deal with this other side, passion and sex. These are two aspects of life force that seem to get suppressed and pushed to the side because of our mind's constant judgment and chatter. But life force can only be suppressed for so long before it will rear its head. Sometimes when you least expect it.

I believe that it be better to learn how to navigate love with passion. Being human means that we are beings of spirit and body together. It would be so much better to learn how to not be in conflict with two essential sides of our nature. It is amazing how much energy is freed up when you are not using all your power to keep the passionate parts of yourself suppressed. You can learn how to be vitally alive in passion, as well as, appropriate and conscious with those energies.

Everything on this planet moves in a sexual way. We exist in a realm of desire. But we also feel the spiritual presence of pure love and light. Humanity has been trying to balance these two sides of life. But passion is often insistent and pushy. Passion reacts and overrides the higher functioning brain at times. Causing upset and stress.

In the workshop, I combined many tools that I have learned as a Kundalini Yoga teacher. In this tradition there are some beautiful techniques from White Tantric Yoga that are wonderful in learning to open couples to see deeply into each other. I also integrate knowledge that I learned from a teacher, Tim Heath, many years ago. He was wonderful at teaching how to find the fullest expression of words in your body by exploring them tactically in ways that open you to the amazing depth of feeling that each of us carries within. He knew that we all want to feel full and alive in love but often our childhood traumas and experiences have caused us to block the full expression of the deeper and darker emotions within us. I have also loved the philosophy and typologies of a wonderful teacher and author, David Deida. He is probably the most gifted person in this century that I have met on understanding the masculine and feminine. I attempt to integrate some of his amazing perspective into the workshop by sharing my experiences of working in his tradition. He shares information that gives safe pathways into the expression of the darker emotions that are often found in sexuality. He gives a perspective that allows all forms of passion to be expressed as love when each person is truly open. Then sex becomes a healthy play into the inner archetypes that you have not known how to integrate and work with.

I am teaching this workshop for those wishing to uncover the deeper aspects of love and intimacy in their relationships. This workshop is an attempt to try to share some of the many amazing experiences I have had in my life related to relationships, sex, and love.

In this workshop we will discuss the new paradigms for relationships in the 21st century. We will uncover the true masculine and feminine aspects within each person. We will explore ways to rekindle the passion back into your love life. This workshop is fun, experiential, informative, and profoundly insightful into the patterns that are manifesting in your relationship.

Just so no one panics. There is no nudity, sex, or exchanging of any bodily fluids in this workshop. This is not a workshop that teaches sexual techniques. It is a workshop to show the yoga's of energy that manifest between the masculine and feminine. We will be energetically engaging the patterns of love and relationship through exercises and breathing techniques between you and your partner. You will learn how to feel deeply into each other's hearts and learn how to open each other to the places that you do not know you have needed to be filled.

Cost of the class is $200.00 per person for the entire weekend or $350.00 per couple.

The dates for the workshop are April 18-19, 2009.
I hope you will register for this workshop. It is one of my favorites to teach. Each person that has taken it has found his or her relationship was profoundly shifted and opened in the process of the weekend.

Workshop starts at 10 am both days and ends at 6 pm.
