Navigating these times and finding your way through.

What a whirlwind it has been for everyone. It is in these moments when I look at the metaphors and images from the great seers of the past and begin to understand (in my own limited way) how tricky and complicated explaining the future can be.

The astrology has clearly pointed to great upheavals and times of inner and outer crisis for everyone alive on the planet. When you listen to the complex metaphors of the great masters of the mystical world from the past, I try to imagine what it would be like to attempt to translate these shifting modern times and then find a way to translate that to someone who is not from that time and place.

What I am grateful for is that the huge amazing changes I see in my clients. The inner and outer growth that so many are experiencing is changing the very foundations of our old self. Metaphorically it is so completely transformative as to be challenging to explain. Perhaps this is why Nostradamus spoke in Quatrains.

The decision that I seem to be coming to is that consciousness itself is massively altering in such a way that our old world is dissolving and breaking down on all levels simultaneously. Perhaps this is the Armageddon. Perhaps it is not the total annihilation of humanity. But the annihilation of the reality we have been attempting to live. Our narrow and limited perspective is no longer applicable to this dramatic shift in consciousness.

I know and can see the huge issues looming. North Korea trying to bait America into a war. Ditto for Iran. Both legitimate threats and not to be taken lightly. The danger is real. The threats are real. The shifts that earth is attempting to move towards are very threatening to the old ways and old perspectives. I know that some can feel so threatened by change that they would want to destroy the direction things are going towards by killing off those who they see are causing them discomfort and forcing them to change their ways, beliefs, and perspectives.

But what I know and trust about humanity and history is that you can only hold back a wave for so long. Eventually the force of the energy breaks down the old reality and a rush of creativity and flow will naturally occur.

Perhaps I am just an optimist at heart. But I am a realist at the same time. I know that you cannot be complacent during such tremendous times. I know that you cannot fall asleep in your old places of security and comfort. Threats are always there and that requires a vigilance and a good dose of reality constantly challenging you to stay awake to make it through such times.

It is not good to constantly run fear as a way to stay awake. That will exhaust you and make you no fun to be around. Others will label you as an alarmist and not only will they not listen but they will also not take you seriously when something really happens. So there is a good prescription of sanity that is necessary to be able to function in this chaotic world. I like to take a good spoonful of it on a daily basis. These days it is good to know when you are reacting to fears and projections of others or if you are truly seeing something and needing to respond appropriately.

But remember to not be the one crying, “Wolf” or running around saying, “The sky is falling.” Try to not get caught up in the hearsay and the hipe of others emotions. Feel each situation individually and with an calm heart and a clear mind make choices that serve you and those you love. Cultivate “Happiness” in your daily life. The world is full of bad news. Do not fall asleep but do not allow that perspective to make your life one of more stress either.
