Numerology/Astrology for 5/16/16 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 5/26/16
5/26/16 is the number 4. The number 4 suggests that you are in a deep need for balance at this time and that things have gotten a little bit out of hand. Remember to balance you first because when you are in balance then your responses in the external world are also going to be more balanced. Work on your non-reacting. Work on observing and witnessing life and the drama of others going all around you. Do not let small upsets escalate to something you might regret later. Jupiter forms a square to Saturn exactly today - the final one in a set that first occurred last summer (although in different signs), and that perfected again in March of this year. You may be forced to restructure your life or plans now in accordance with rules, laws, limits, and the demands of reality. It is best to breathe new life into old ideas but know that those changes right now might be radical with all these retrogrades. You may need to cut back on something in order to grow in another area. It is important not to overextend ourselves at this time and to avoid attempting easy fixes or shortcuts. The need to adjust your expectations becomes obvious now. The Moon continues its transit of Capricorn until 10:27 AM, when it enters Aquarius. Its harmonious connections with the Sun and Venus this afternoon and tonight encourage cooperation.

Quote
You are not the emotion that you keep feeling in your body, though it is human nature to identify with that emotion and say things like, “I am afraid” or “I am angry”. But in truth the ownership of those words limits you rather than expands you. You are not just one emotion. Emotions pass over and through you like waves of the ocean at the beach. Just let them wave through. Let them roll through you and past you. There is no need to own them as part of your identity.

When we feel an emotion we tend (as humans) to be very indulgent in the attachment to that emotion. We hold on to it often because we want someone to notice what we are feeling. And if they don’t we exaggerate it to the point that it becomes distorted and expresses a caricature of who we really are. Do not use emotions to hook or manipulate others into your game or circumstance. People know when they are being manipulated and it often ends up giving you less of what you need rather than more.
