Numerology and Blog for 4/5/14

Numerology for 4/5/14
Today is the number 7. Today feel into the vastness of spirit. The number 7 is the number of mystics, poets, and those intuitives that love to use maps and patterns to understand the unknowable. When you are in the flow with the number 7 you will feel as if life is moving according to the plan that you have set for yourself. You will feel steady, dignified and in alignment with the natural order of things. But when you move the energy against the 7 you will feel skeptical, torn between your right and left-brain, stubborn, and cynical. The energy astrologically at the moment is quite intense and April will prove to be one of those months that we will want to grasp at straws or any plans that might explain the insanity. Try to let this day and the number 7 make you look at life in a more philosophical way. Let today strengthen your resolve and allow you to look deeper within for the answers you seek. Choose to be less critical and less of a perfectionist. Many are struggling right now, not just you. Practice looking at the maps and patterns of others and perhaps that will take you out of your own drama for a minute. Let your issues go and peer into the feelings of others. You might just find an answer for yourself when you let go of endlessly trying to understand. Even the most brilliant mind needs to escape and take a break. Step out of your reality and when you decide to serve another you will be amazed at what you might find for yourself.

Quote
Giving up hope is encouragement to stick with ourselves, to return to the bare bones no matter what’s going on. If we totally experience hopelessness, then we give up all alternatives to the present moment, and we can have a joyful, honest, direct relationship with our lives.

I love how Pema’s mind works. She never ceases to make me look deeper than my previous understanding. There is a place where giving up hope transforms into a place of acceptance and surrender. When you stop looking for others in your life to give you what you want and when life itself is disappointing and not bringing what you believe is promised you, then you have to drop into a much deeper understanding of self. Hopelessness has given me some of the greatest moments in my life. Striving stops, fear ends, trying to prove something suddenly seems pointless, and you fall deep into the now. It is very powerful when everything else slips away and all that remains is this moment. There is a refreshing honesty in that place. There is you and only you. Everything becomes an illusion of your own mind and you recognize that you have become addicted to your own character that you are playing in your own movie. In that moment you can step out of the movie and become whole.
