Numerology/Astrology for 12/17/18


12/17/18 is the number 4. Stability is power. That is what the number 4 teaches. Almost all buildings have 4 sides. Why? Because it is more stable. Unstable situations, people, governments, laws, etc. always collapse because without stability that is based on some system of balance will tear itself apart in times of stress. Those that in such times lack that balance will turn to laziness, avoidance, and lack of conviction. When you are secure within yourself, the truth is always good enough. When you are sure of who you are and your position in the world, being in the moment and not trying to force an issue becomes automatic. Others have their own journey and you have yours. Choose your path and learn to let others have theirs. That will give you the balance you are seeking.

The Moon in Aries continues to support us in looking forward not backward. What can you discover about your hidden self that is still untouched and untainted by this human experience? There are tools to awaken yourself to the connections that you have with is amazing life. But when that energy is stirring, it tends to need to work its way through the energy blocks and beliefs that have tapped it down. The Moon squaring Pluto in the morning will make that agitation stronger than normal. Stay calm. Choose to open and let the energies move through your self doubt and fear.
The Moon and the Sun are in a positive trine to teach other and that will give you more confidence and inner security later in the day. You might just have to weather the morning agitation. There are things that can be mutually supportive for everyone. It just takes a longer time than you might anticipate.
The Mercury-Pluto semi-square can find us feeling skeptical about outcomes even when things seem to be shifting in a way that supports positive change. Expect tension and mental distress. My choice in such an aspect is to go get a massage. Any choices that allow you to let it all go are valuable. When you do you will know how to harness this energy more wisely and use it for good and the good of others. There is something that you will need to get to the bottom of today. Find the truth. It will always set you free.

I am concerned with the obvious lack of empathy in our world. The loss of health insurance for those with pre-existing medical conditions should alarm you beyond belief. Everyone will eventually have some sort of pre-existing condition. What does everyone expect to have happen? For hospitals to release people and tell them to go home and die? That harkens back to when my sister (a pediatrician) was working for “Doctor’s without Borders”, in the 1990’s. She was in Romania working with the Street Children that lived in the sewers and who were sniffing glue. They all ended up with Aplastic Anemia from sniffing the glue.
She saw a young boy on the street bleeding out of control and went up to him and asked him if they could take him to the hospital? He said that he had already been there. And they told him, “To go out on the streets to die like the dog that he was!”
It was such a horrifying experience for my sister that she had nightmares about it for years afterwards. Her experiences in Romania were terrifying as to what the lack of empathy created there.
In Romania, when Nicolae Ceaușescu took over the country. He forced those on farms to move into the city and leave everything behind. He put them in block cement buildings with glass doors so that the neighbors to spy on each other and report things back to government. It was all about control.
They were also not allowed to take their dogs with them into the city. So instead of killing them they released them into the wild.
Even now, in Romania there are packs of wild dogs that roam around. The people put out food for the dogs because the dogs represent the old ways and the freedoms that have been taken from them.
But if a street child tries to take the food they are beaten.
The dogs are more important than children. That type of cruelty and horror is what made my sister give up working for Doctor’s without Borders. Because of the lack of empathy, it created a type of suffering that shows how mankind inflicts pain even on its own. Such things shatter the psyche and is a destroyer of hope.
What I know is that we cannot allow such things to happen in our country. And we have to do something about it.
