8/12/18 is the number 4. The number 4 is the planet Mercury, which is doing a number astrologically at this moment. Mercury loves to figure things out and the number 4 chooses to undertake things that are difficult in order to support a greater reality. The number 4, is the energy that supports the practical application of choices that lead to solid foundations. It is willing to be determined and disciplined. Order in life requires thought. Order is the way of the higher mind and the way the universe operates. You cannot build your life on piles of junk. You cannot ever find the things you are looking for if there is no methods or patterns of organization. And there has to be the higher perspective of not just the small part upon which you are focusing but you have to see how that one thing is connected to everything. The latter is what is lacking is our society at this time. Everyone is so intent on getting their small part perfect. But they cannot see how or if that small part is connected to everything else in a way that will work and create things for the better. Laziness leads to a lack of focus. That lack of focus will make things disorganized and ineffective. Is your fate to learn to become one with the cosmic flow? Or is it your ego’s goal to have your small pile of trinkets that you hoard over and refuse to give to this world? Sharing is caring. When you want to share, you have the confidence in something that you feel is very special. And that something could change the world in some small or greater way if it was given away to others. Within you is something special that you have to give. Let it go. Give it up. Let it have a life. Let that special thing evolve. Holding onto it only limits it growth to a narrow band of your own perspective. Giving it away, gives it infinite ways to be seen, used, and expanded.

Astrology Today

After the eclipse you might feel like bounding into unexplored territory. Just be aware that there are many wanting and doing the same thing. It is time to look outside your own bubble and make some choices that shift your world in ways that serve not just you but the greater good.

The conversations continue from the pattern of yesterday into a much deeper place if you learn to conserve the emotion and operate from the place of mutual assurance. You cannot be wildly supportive in this astrology, but you can be stable and consistent.

Because of all the retrogrades, you have to think of this as a marathon rather than a sprint. Speed is not the issue. Finishing is the issue. It really does not matter if you are the first to finish. Winning is finishing in one piece with your head on straight and your health intact. Don't push, plod along. That is going to get you what you want faster.

Chores are fulfilling and give you a sense of control and satisfaction.

It might be a good time to make those doctors’ appointments also while we are attending to details.

Things will still not feel quite right but don't let the restless energy of the astrology take away your courage and don't take your tension out on others.
