1/2/18 is the number 5. Can you feel yourself digging your feet into the ground and your toes beginning to initiate movement? They say that your toes begin the movement in your body and so often it is the toes that know when to step. The earth energy of the number 5 is clarifying something in a big way and you see more clearly than you have all last year. The fog is lifting and the bright light of winter is crystalizing the feelings and thoughts that have been so complicated and convoluted. Now, you can feel the movement that is going to be necessary and there is no longer the hesitation that you had been feeling. Intuitively you know the time is now. Take that moment and leap into that void because this year is going to be a lot of those leaps and they are going to gain in length as you feel stronger and more confident in your ability to adapt and become more flexible in not just your mind but also in your body and choices.
2018 is the number 11 and this number is not about balance it is about risk. It is about leaping beyond your mind’s fears and limitations. The number 11 is associated with Leonardo da Vinci. And he was as big of a risk taker and innovator as anyone. He was a synthesizer of massive amounts of information and from gathering up all of that knowledge he knew how to leap beyond the known into the unknown and untapped potential within his own mind and within science. But to make calculated leaps of faith and to risk in such a huge way, you must gather up as much information as is possible to make (as Spock would say), “The best guess possible!”
On Tuesday, innovative Uranus ends his retrograde cycle which started last August and now it slowly begins to move forward. This makes it the first moment in a while where all the planets are moving forward. So, this moment is about full steam ahead for the duration of this cycle. If you wanted to get something going or start a new business then this is the moment. If you wanted to begin a new cycle for your life, then again, this is the moment. Inventive ideas that were put on hold last summer will start to move forward in the coming weeks. Because Uranus is at the end of Aries and will move into Taurus in the spring, this change of directions will be more noticeable and quite possibly dramatic. Uranus demands a revolution, revelation, and change. Know that there is a sudden clarity and insight that is being revealed and you now (finally) have a clear choice to move towards. Use the momentum to your advantage. The Sun forms a sextile to Neptune early today, and Venus will follow suit early tomorrow, and we're especially invested in harmonizing and cooperating today. Everything is moving into earth till the middle of this month. For some that may get a bit heavy but it is also forcing each of us to get very real about what is up and what we can and cannot tolerate for another minute. Uranus and all this earth energy is sparking us to physically make the changes and movement that has been stalled because of emotional avoidance patterns and distractions. But now, you see it for what it is. As the planet gains speed in the next few weeks, our urge to express our unique self, to take some chances or risks, to rebel, to listen to our own instincts, and to stir up change are re-awakened or turned outside of ourselves. Even so, today is good for respecting our intuition and relaxing rather than pushing forward. This is a day to consider all your options, make a plan, and then follow through with it later this month.
