Numerology/Astrology for 11/3/17 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 11/3/17

I am back to my computer and a better internet.

11/3/17 is the number 6. What a grand time I have been having in Nepal. Needless to say, on the trek there was no way I was going to carry my laptop. So, thank you everyone for enjoying the images that I managed to put up when there was Wi-Fi. The number 6 is allowing each of you to look beyond the projections and limitations that you have on yourself and remember that you have so much more to offer than you can even conceive of. If I learned something of great value that relates to the number 6, it is to see each person’s uniqueness and appreciate what they offer so freely and openly. There is something special in each person and if you can always look at each person from the driving force within their heart you would stop judging.
The Full Moon is on Friday the 3rd at 10:23 PM PDT (12 degrees Taurus/Scorpio). This is the Full Moon where you take a strong look at what you value. Taurus and Scorpio deal with power and they help you eliminate anything that takes your power away. This includes not only external situations or people who try to control or manipulate you, but also any self-defeating beliefs and behaviors you are holding deep within. Many people with Taurus and Scorpio in their natal chart are drawn to earth-based energies such as shamanism or nature spirit philosophies. A good activity is to get your hands dirty by cleaning out your garden and planting flower bulbs for next spring. It is also good for drumming or shamanic journeys. This Full Moon advises you it is time to get down to the nitty-gritty of your material needs and your hidden emotional side. Release any internal wounds that come from old, deep emotions. Relationship planet Venus is opposite independence-loving Uranus during the Full Moon. This can manifest as being in a relationship and wishing you were free, or being single and wishing you were in partnership. Instead of doing “grass is greener on the other side of the fence,” create a new balance between your sharing needs and freedom needs. Perhaps it is time to create new relationship paradigms. There is an emphasis now that supports you to follow through and move through great challenges, but this will require you to recognize that which must be released. The trick is to know what to work through and what to let go of. Buy one lottery ticket sometime between now and the 13th when money planet Venus aligns with lucky Jupiter. Take a look at your relationships realistically. In this moment, you want to place a higher value on security, steadiness, and loyalty. The Sun forms a trine to Neptune early afternoon, introducing a fluid, graceful theme to the day. Intuition or access to it seems more naturally now. It's easy to find inspiration, and you may be moved to help, support, or give of yourself in more impactful ways. This can be a good time for self-improvement programs or efforts. Your eyes are opened and you see people and life from a different perspective. One that not only allows for but finds beauty in the uniqueness and differences in each other. As the day advances, you move towards a Venus-Uranus opposition and a Full Moon in the sign of Taurus, exact early tomorrow. Impulsive attractions to people, things, and even situations are likely now. Some instability, restlessness, and rebelliousness are probable in romantic relationships. You may not see eye to eye, and unexpected events or feelings may catch you off guard. Your needs for comfort and togetherness appear to clash with the desire to be free and independent. If you can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, you might open up to new ways of relating that accommodate this new diversity that is required of each of us now. The Full Moon in Taurus is fertile and potent and can serve as a form of awakening to your hidden feelings and desires.

What an amazing journey. To say that repeatedly I was not completely at my edge would be a lie. Let’s just say that everything is pretty much up in the Himalayas. After 3 days, all my clothes were soaked through. It decided to rain so then nothing would dry out. I am so grateful for the clothes from REI that dry pretty well when they are on your body. But still between the constantly going up, the heat and humidity, the rocky trail where you have to constantly pay attention to where you are stepping, the spectacular views, the sweet wonderful people, the signs and magic, the remote hotels, the tea houses, etc. It was an adventure beyond my wildest dreams. There were moments when no matter what I tried I could not completely cool off my core body temperature. There were so many things to see and experience it was like a constant panoply of flavors, smells, sounds, and sensations. The Nepalese people are some of the sweetest, kindest, and strongest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It is through experiences such as this that I learn more in depth the meaning of compassion. As American’s because of the great opportunities and gifts that we naturally have, we do seem to lose that heartfelt depth of compassion, connection, and understanding that is possible with others if we could just connect in a way that allows for authentic expression and a bit more time to really get to know others. One moment that stands out was in a tea house in a small town on the way down. The hotel was (as we say here, a No Star Hotel) and we were all exhausted beyond belief. But our tour instigator, Julie Tindall, (the mistress to all the travel Gods) picked up someone’s guitar and began playing American Beatles, and 60’s and 70’s songs. It was an awesome coming together of cultures and people through music. A constant reminder that all situations improve when you look for the connection with others, rather than focusing on your own discomfort. When you live from a place of looking as to what you have to share and give rather than what you expect and want to get, life becomes more and more magical.
