3/4/17 is the number 8. The number 8 is the moment when you get a glimpse of your fate, your future, and the challenges to get to that future. The Tarot card is the Strength card and as such, it is time to develop confidence and follow that vision that has been living on the edge of your consciousness. Life is breaking down the barriers to transformation and as reality hits you experience the need to “get on with it”. Your desire to move and change might not be what others want you to do. So, do your best to not be tactless, sneering, superior, or condescending in your attitude of others that seem more stuck than you. After all, karma comes to all of us at some time and the more compassion we have for others who are suffering the more forgiveness we can also give ourselves.

As Venus goes retrograde today, till April 15^th, you are invited to see the whole landscape of what love is in your life and how that is showing up or not showing up in the way you want. This is a good moment for a makeover. Take a moment to change your look, the way you interact in the world, and shift how you feel about yourself and others. Just be careful to not overspend. A Venus retrograde can make you move beyond your budget and buy things that you don’t need or spend too much on things you do. It is a great time to express love and appreciation to all those who add so much goodness to your life. Be aware that a Venus retrograde can make people say, “No.” when you expected them to say “Yes.” And visa versa. Places where you took short cuts are going to be blatantly obvious so you might need to admit you bit off more than you could chew at the beginning, as people are more forgiving when you don’t try to cover up what went wrong. There are also moments when former relationships might pop back in for a moment or more depending on the reception they receive. One note to those who might like to do things they are not supposed to do…A Venus retrograde can get you caught with your fingers in the cookie jar or that other person in bed with you. Regardless, it is a good time for reading and listening to your favorite music.

Venus stations as it turns retrograde today, and will be retrograde until April 15th. Until April 2nd, Venus transits Aries and then retreats into Pisces on that date for the remainder of the retrograde. This Venus retrograde cycle can bring you back to unresolved matters, particularly to do with relationships, finances, your deeper wants and needs, and values. You may want to avoid significant new beginnings or decisions related to Venus-ruled endeavors, such as finances, partnership, romance, and pleasurable pursuits. However, it is a good time to address, assess, and tell the truth about such matters. This is a cycle in which you want to review, re-evaluate, and re-assess your love life, personal finances, and the manner in which you receive, reveal, and express your affections. Thoughts turn to the past so that you can lay to rest unhealthy habits in these areas of life. You are able to get in better touch with your values and needs during this slowdown phase. The Moon completes its transit of Taurus at 5:07 AM EST and enters Gemini. Mercury aligns with Neptune this morning, and daydreaming, visualization, and prophecy are stimulated.
