Numerology/Astrology for 2/24/17

2/24/17 is the number 9. The number 9 begs the question, “What do you think an enlightened peaceful world would look like?” Now if that is the world then what are you doing right now to allow that to manifest or are your actions pushing this world in the opposite direction? All religions and teaching talk of concepts that are related to karma or what you give out is what you get back. The number 9 is the number of karma and spiritual enlightenment. It is the number that wants to serve humanity. It is the number of self-sacrifice and selflessness. It is the number of stepping into the higher perspective. It is the number of responsibility of your actions and the discovery of the strength or weakness of your character. To discover strength, you often have to learn first the lessons of non-conformity, to have an expansive viewpoint, permission to be eccentric, and an obligation to help those in need. It is the order of Divine Wisdom, which is experienced through the lessons of life not learned in books. This is the number of benevolent action and service to life. What can you do today that is an act of kindness and serves life? How can you be a healer and educator acting always for the benefit of humanity? This number is the energy that chooses to take care of others and attempts to understand others experiences of life with a sympathetic ear and a heart that is open and soft. Reach out and do what you can for others today.

The Moon is in Aquarius all day. While it transits Aquarius, it will harmonize with Venus (today), and then Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn (tomorrow), opening up many opportunities to connect, learn, and grow, and multiple channels for expressing our feelings. There is a deep drive to have intellectual stimulation, change, and unusual or unconventional experiences. And with the Sun and Uranus about to form a semi-square aspect (exact early tomorrow), there can be tension or restless feelings if you are following the usual routine. Don’t resist the change that is happening to you. Interrupted plans are going to force you to try new approaches. Be willing to experiment and explore for best results now.

“Man is the Reasoning Animal. Such is the claim. I think it is open to dispute. Indeed, my experiments have proven to me that he is the Unreasoning Animal... In truth, man is incurably foolish. Simple things which other animals easily learn, he is incapable of learning. Among my experiments was this. In an hour, I taught a cat and a dog to be friends. I put them in a cage. In another hour I taught them to be friends with a rabbit. In the course of two days I was able to add a fox, a goose, a squirrel and some doves. Finally, a monkey. They lived together in peace; even affectionately.

Next, in another cage I confined an Irish Catholic from Tipperary, and as soon as he seemed tame I added a Scotch Presbyterian from Aberdeen. Next a Turk from Constantinople; a Greek Christian from Crete; an Armenian; a Methodist from the wilds of Arkansas; a Buddhist from China; a Brahman from Benares. Finally, a Salvation Army Colonel from Wapping. Then I stayed away for two whole days. When I came back to note results, the cage of Higher Animals was all right, but in the other there was but a chaos of gory odds and ends of turbans and fezzes and plaids and bones and flesh--not a specimen left alive. These Reasoning Animals had disagreed on a theological detail and carried the matter to a Higher Court.”
