Numerology/Astrology for 11/8/15 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 11/8/15
November 8th is the number 9. This number is very feminine in its flow. It is about listening to the voice that comes from your gut instinct. It is that “spidy” sense that tells you when something is not what it seems. Learning to follow that gut instinct is difficult when confronted with the words, views, and opinions of others and of those that we hold in a place of having a higher spiritual perspective. If everyone followed what naturally came from his or her deepest feelings of love and compassion the world would be a happier place. What does your intuition tell you to do today? Where have you had enough and you cannot stomach a particular behavior of humanity any more? It is when we come together as a whole and say, “No more?” that things will change. There is something that is shifting all of us to a very different place over this next month. That journey will ask you to let go of something, whether that is a belief, a group, a pattern, a job, a relationship, etc. There is a very powerful moment when you decide to trust your inner knowing over the external reality. It is a powerful moment and we are building towards this at the end of the month. Yes, independence is scary but it is also very freeing. You can move through life listening to your own heart knowing and you will have a wonderful life if you do that. Venus enters Libra today, and Mars will follow suit on the 12th. During this Venus in Libra cycle that runs until December 4th, you might often turn to charm rather than aggressive behavior in order to get things done. Although Venus in Libra is very relationship-focused, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. As Libra is all about balance and weighing things out you will be more willing to negotiate and compromise. Just be careful because this aspect can be especially idealistic about love. You will want people to behave correctly and be in a loving space with others. Balance and compromise are essential elements for progress. The shadow side of this position can be dependency, inconsistency, or superficiality. In an attempt to avoid unpleasant situations, you could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in your relationships. This is also a time when your artistic side wants to come out. You tend to seek balance in your environment and what you want might be very specific. The Moon is also in Libra, and your emotional focus wants harmony and co-operation but getting that is not going to go the way you want or expect.

Quote
There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to hold grudges or to be living somebody else's dream that makes you anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life... getting back up is living.

Each of us have our own life, our own dreams, and our own challenges that we have to overcome. There are many things that we have to overcome to become our authentic self. Know deep down you are love and regardless of what others say or do, you are always love. Ultimately the truth is what gives you joy, opens your heart, allows for forgiveness, and brings people together. All things that cause separation, create conflict, superiority complexes, and many forms of war are elements of the ego mind in action. It is really about what you choose to be the legacy of your life. I remember being a child (I was raised Catholic) and my grandmother telling me that the old man down the road who was always so sweet to me, helpful, kind, gentle, and loving was going to hell because he was not Catholic, so I should not play with him. I knew instantly in that moment that she was wrong. He was a lovely man and filled with love and kindness. In that moment her words betrayed the truth as clearly to me as anything. And that truth was that this lovely man was of the divine and she was disconnected from the truth. Her actions betrayed herself and showed her flaws and darkness. It made me not trust her actions, her truth, or her word. I also saw in that moment that she was not a person to connect to with my deepest heart. I could see that if she could not see the love and kindness in that man that how could she receive the love and kindness that I offered. Then I realized that she had never really received my love either. In that moment I learned to love her but I knew that she did not have the capacity to fully receive my deepest self. That she had never been unconditionally loved so she could not unconditionally love others. If she had not learned this from the beginning and from loving parents it was going to be very challenging for her to ever open. Yes, you have to learn to unconditionally love people but that does not mean you have to condone their bad behavior, believe their distorted truth, or accept their reality as the truth. In that moment I walked out the door and went to play with that nice older man down the street. It was a pivotal moment in my life. It was a moment when I understood that I was more connected to the divine order than an older person. I realized that age did not always mean wisdom. And that truth is not to be accepted just because it comes from a person of authority.
