Numerology/Astrology for 11/6/15 - Plus Personal Blog
November 6th is the number 7. The number 7 has always been a very important number in the mystery schools of ancient times. This number is the seeker of truth and the thinker. Today, remember that famous sculpture by Auguste Rodin, “The Thinker”. The sculpture is nude, as Rodin wanted a heroic figure in the tradition of Michelangelo, to represent intellect as well as poetry. I love how Rodin combined the elements of philosophy and art. One interpretation of this sculpture was, “The Thinker was therefore initially both a being with a tortured body, almost a damned soul, and a free-thinking man, determined to transcend his suffering through poetry.” I love the concept of redemption of a soul’s suffering through the journey into philosophy and poetry. Many times in my life what pulled me out of dark places was poetry, song, music, and dance, all elements of the number 7, which is about rhythms and structure. I believe that the greatest artists have been some of the most sensitive people on the planet and also because of that sometimes the most tortured. I believe that art is the highest form of expression and transformation of some of the deepest and darkest places of the human consciousness and the emotional and physical suffering that one experiences on earth. Today use the number 7 and do some deep contemplation and move that energy into a creative place that supports the release of trauma into the higher form of artistic expression. The Moon is in Virgo all day, and you can benefit from putting extra effort into helping others or into your work. With Mercury and Neptune forming a trine aspect today, imagination and intuition run high, and are very much involved in decisions that you need to make right now. You may easily sense the thoughts and feelings of others, perhaps finding yourself finishing others' sentences. Emotions run high and your intuition is also strong today. Neptune’s creativity gives your communication a little more flair and imagination. This is a good influence for photography, the arts, poetry, fiction, spirituality, advertising, and promotion. The Moon aligns with Jupiter later today, and this brings out a desire to do your best.

Whatever happens to you, don’t fall in despair.
Today, be thankful for your pain and suffering. Be thankful for the lessons you have learned when life forced you to go deeply into places in your subconscious that required more out of you than the information told to you by others. Recognize that it was through the suffering that you learned something that had great value to you and potentially to others. Suffering allows you to gain experience rather than just book knowledge. Suffering allows you to learn how to transform things from darkness into light. Suffering is the doorway to wisdom.

Books will allow you to "observe" other people's experiences of suffering, but only personal lessons learned by our personal suffering can "temper" those lessons into our souls. Suffering is the hone to the blade of steel that is our character.
