Numerology/Astrology for 10/24/15 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 10/24/15
October 24th is the number 6 so as we settle into the mood and intensity of Scorpio it is always wise to reflect on if your inner and outer worlds are aligned. It often does not take much. A bit of stretching, a bit of conscious belly breathing, and a willingness to let the mind drop away and with that the problems and drives of the external world. Yet, how rarely do we really do that? It is sad really that we believe that the external world holds more value than your own internal knowing. Let’s face it, the more you focus on the external the more “me” focused you become. And you don’t really want to become a narcissistic blow-hard, do you? The more you focus on the internal you sense, connect, and understand how we are all the same. That takes a lot of pressure off of standing out. We are astrologically in a time when it is better to stand together than to stand out. None of us can do it alone but first we need to reconnect to our self and then allow that self to find the connections that are universal with others. Shortly into the day, Mars and Uranus form a quincunx, and making adjustments to your goals may be necessary. This influence can temporarily drain your energy or make you feel restless and impatient as if you are not sure what you want. Self-awareness is always especially important with the quincunx aspect so as to avoid either/or decisions when a compromise may be best. The Moon is in Pisces all day, aligning with Chiron and then opposing Mars this morning. This is a time to consciously choose a gentle rather than rebellious or passive-aggressive approach. Later today, you may be feeling the expansive, cooperative, and generous energy of an approaching alignment of Venus and Jupiter, which will be exact tomorrow.

There are so many great spiritual stories about teachers trying to get students to let go of what they are attached to. What we want to give may or may not be our gift. But you will not know if you obsessively hang on to it. Often the best thing to do is to let it go for a period of time. Stepping away often gives you an insight of greater energy and power to step into. The universe is always fine-tuning you. You have a clue as to what you are here to do but that exact place and purpose is constantly being refined by the powers that be. Let yourself stop striving and find what makes you light up. Then follow that. Bliss is open, empty, and constant. Find what gives you those qualities and then you will know you are on the path to your truest expression.
