Numerology/Astrology for 10/20/15 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 10/20/15
October 20th is the number 11 and it is time to take the good with the bad. It is a “Mary Poppins” moment. “Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down”. Yes, there are a few lessons and it is time to take the medicine that you have been resisting taking. Yes it can be a bit bitter to take something that is good for you to take but life is about those moments when you have to mix the good with the bad and end up with something in the middle. This is one of those days. The Moon continues to transit Capricorn much of the day, until 9:39 PM EDT, and a First Quarter Moon occurs at 4:31 PM when the Sun in late Libra forms a square with the Moon in Capricorn. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as you may feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, you will be made aware of how your actions affect those close to you. Whatever project or initiative you began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles. The Moon enters Aquarius at 9:39 PM. Independence, equality, and freedom are vital to feeling emotionally satisfied with this position of the Moon. Venus is parallel Jupiter, and you are generally sociable, gracious, and generous. You can make the best out of most situations now.

Quote
We all dread the helplessness of losing control, and yet real freedom lies in recognizing the futility of demanding that life be within our control. Instead, we must learn the willingness to feel....to say yes to...the experience of helplessness itself. This is one of the hidden gifts of serious illness or loss. It pushes us right to our edge, where we may have the good fortune to realize that our only real option is to surrender to our experience and let it just be.

This quote has been one of my constant life lessons. In truth, it is actually everyone’s lesson eventually. As life teaches you again and again that you are not completely in control it becomes a way of life. Each experience is about living in your truth in the moment and responding simply to what is being presented. In each moment you have a choice to move and flow with the situation or to get upset, resist, and try to control your life circumstances so that you mold situations into what is comfortable and familiar. The later is really, really hard to do. Yes, life is partially about learning to master the physical plane. You have to learn to control your body and its coordination to be one with gravity and the physical plane but then there is a moment when you have to let life teach you rather than you shape life into what you think you want. When you look at life from the place that in each moment is a perfect state of happiness and you learn to look for those moments instead of trying to do something that you think will make you happy, then you find inner peace. Demanding that life gives you what you think you deserve is a childish way to move through life. Life has already given you the greatest gift, this life! You came down to have an experience here. There was something that you felt was of great value in this dance, this drama, and this plane of existence. Stop longing for what you do not have and discover what you do have. There is so much to be grateful for. Just feel into that and recognize that all things that man has ever created have eventually fallen away into dust. But your experience of finding bliss in this moment you can carry with you throughout time. Experiences encode in your DNA and become anchors for the co-creation of life. You cannot control life but you can learn to flow within that life and become one with it. The damage that mankind has done to the earth has been from that place of controlling nature and abusing it rather than flowing with nature and working as one, together, to serve all. I believe that humanity only now has that potential to truly get this concept on a grand and global scale. But we all have to start slow. We each first have to shift our internal center away from the “Me” perspective and into the mindset of how does this choice affect the greater whole. If we co-created a world from that place and reality what a wonderful world this could again become.
