August 12th is the number 10. So this is a day of personal power, change, new beginnings, and expanding your reach in areas of your life that are ready to move. Now that Jupiter is in Virgo for the next year and three weeks it is time to get down to doing those details that you have been avoiding. You have dreamed a dream into the position of manifestation. Because of that now there are things that have to be addressed and life needs to be re-organized around this new pattern and potential. Change is the name of the game and so rather than resist why not dive in with enthusiasm, excitement, and energy. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 4:53 PM EDT, when it enters Leo. Tonight's Mercury-Neptune opposition can stimulate your imagination, but it can also leave you open to self-deception or of being deceived by others. It may be difficult to get solid answers from others and you can too easily misrepresent yourself. Avoid signing contracts or formalizing agreements for now. There can be misunderstandings, misinformation, wishful thinking, confusion, some depression, carelessness, and deception. Your thinking may be self-defeating. On the positive side, this can be a time for exploring new and unusual ideas and for seeing new possibilities, but it's best to wait for a better time to lock something down.

Once your brain formulates a concept and believes that concept, it will consciously and unconsciously try to find all the information to validate that position over and over again. Instead of falling into the trap of the organic nature of your brain, switch on that part that loves to learn and try new things. That will discombobulate your mind and it will generate confusion and a bit of chaos. But disassembling your old mind set is not a bad thing it is just expanding those neurological dendrites and asking them to step into a wider and more inclusive understanding of life. A teacher of mine once said, “Being in a state of confusion is a very high level of consciousness. It means your ego is no longer in charge of your reality.”
