Numerology/Astrology for 4/4/15 - Plus Personal Blog
Today we are in the number 7. What makes your light shine bright is the cracks in your armor that allow that light to be seen by others. Each of us has that bright spark of light within us. Getting it out to be seen in the world is the challenge. It is always hardest to see ourself in the way that others see us. In general we do not see the impact or our value very well. Egos create shields for our light to hide behind and the emotional experiences that we have crack those shields and allow that light to shine through the cracks. Enlightenment comes when the shield is not longer necessary; the ego no longer has any pull over our mind. We no longer feel the need to protect ourself and we allow that light to be seen regardless of situations and circumstances. Today your shield is cracking. The Lunar eclipse in Libra gives us the opportunity to see beyond the protection that we have created and evaluate whether some things are needed anymore. Sometimes we believe we need certain people to feel safe. That illusion is being torn down and you are coming face to face with the reflection of your own strength and determination. A total Lunar Eclipse occurs this morning, with the Sun in Aries opposing the Moon in Libra at 8:07 AM EDT. This is an emotional time - a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships. The "crisis" that a Lunar eclipse tends to elicit is a crisis of lack - a time when we suddenly recognize a great need or want. This is a time when matters come to light - things that have been brewing under the surface. This eclipse urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and tending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability. Eclipses are tied to changing circumstances. However, we are usually the ones to precipitate or attract changes because our "inner guides" know that we need them.
