Numerology/Astrology for 1/23/15
Today is the number 5. Mixed with the Mercury Retrograde the
number 5 can make things feel a bit confining, inconsistent, unreliable,
restless, stagnant, and lacking in vitality. Ugh! That does not sound very
good, does it? Mercury’s desire for movement is restricted in a retrograde and
that forces everyone to re-visit issues about finding greater stability. It is
time to take responsibility for the change that you so desire. The number 5 is
the pivotal point between the numbers 1 and 9. You have to be in life to find
the true meaning of life. Now, everyone will find a different meaning to that
life because each of us has different things to learn. That is why sharing is
so important. When I gather with others and hear their stories and journey I
learn not just about my world but the infinite possibilities out there. It
helps me expand even further. I become willing to try things that I did not
know were possible. I learn that I have tools for situations in the future that
have not yet happened yet. The stories of others are gold and very precious.
Their stories give me options, which I may not have thought of. Another’s
stories teach me about earth and how to survive here; after all, the game is
adaptability. Very early into the day, the Sun sextiles Saturn, framing your
responsibilities in a positive way. Patience is increased as you focus on
things that will make you feel secure in the long term. The Moon is in Pisces
all day, encouraging you to take the walls down, so that as the day advances,
you tend to your spiritual needs more than your practical ones. We are inclined
to daydream and perhaps stray from our regular routine a little.

Quote
The beauty of life is that
it does not have meaning. It is totally devoid of meaning...Our task is to
bring meaning. Not to search for meaning, but to bring meaning to every
situation you are in.

Yes, Mercury is retrograde and you will find yourself
reflecting on something. You will be revisiting parts of your life from the
past and reviewing the situation. Take a look at the meaning that you have
given that event. Observe the story and recognize that you automatically make
yourself the hero or heroine of your life. That is fine but is it the truth.
Most of us make up a truth to live with the consequences of our choices.
Enlightenment means that you unravel the story and see the raw and real event
without embellishments. I love the television shows and movies now where they
show the stupidity, frailty, and flawed logic of the human species and also
show that regardless we all deserve love. That is the truth and that truth will
set you free. It takes huge amounts of energy to consistently create illusions
of ego all around you. What do you tell yourself right now about your life and
experiences? If it requires your own energy to maintain then step back and take
a look at it from a more objective viewpoint. No matter what you are still
lovable, even if you are flawed and have made mistakes. That is the gift of this
life. Mistakes do not make you more or less. Hopefully they make you more
compassionate.
