Numerology/Astrology
for 12/5/18
12/5/18 is the number 10. Change is the name of the
game when the number 1 shows up. You have to understand at moments that change
is the doorway. And while familiar is comfortable, it is not always what is for
your greatest growth. Sometimes we need to be challenged to find the edge that
has eluded us. Someone has to be brave enough to leap out of the known into the
void of creation. Every person that comes into our life shows us something.
Every person brings with them a set of realities that we learn from by being in
their presence. Every person shows us their bubble of reality if we are open
enough to be able to let that in. The problem is that some people have places,
edges, and situations that are not appropriate for us to track or are completely
impossible for us to move into at times. We are here to show up to our life. It
is not our job to show up to everyone’s life. That would be impossible. We are
here to be the best person we can be, and we can never be what others want us
to be. That is the great realization with the number 10/1. You can only be you.
Expectations of others are the projections of our inability to take
responsibility for their own life. In such a moment that person projects onto
another what they need to find in themselves. That projection is a coat that
will never fit because it belongs to another. What often happens is then that
person becomes unhappy that you will not fulfil their expectations when in
reality you cannot and should not. It is up to them to reclaim their disowned
selves. Life is that journey to bring back home, all those parts and pieces that
were broken and find a way to make this life into an expression of something honest
and authentic.

Astrology
Today
On Wednesday, the Sun squares Neptune.
This might make you feel as if you are drained and have a lack of desire to
work and/or a feeling that seems a bit spaced out. While external stuff may not
work well, it is a perfect time to do internal work to better understand if you
are on track with your higher vision and where you need to make adjustments to
get them aligned. You might notice that your spiritual side is requesting
things that might go against your external plans and goals. Sometimes you need
more internal insight to make the external a reality. Figuring out how to
incorporate imagination into spirit makes you sometimes feel uncertain. That is
because our spiritual side is not logical. But there is a pattern that flows
within the chaos of creativity.
The theme for the next few days is
about winding down and becoming more appropriate in your life. There is a minor
square between the Sun and Uranus suggesting you have an urge for action. Yet,
you do not know where to begin or where your intentions will lead you.
The Moon continues its journey through
Scorpio unto this evening, at which point it enters Sagittarius and supporting
your desire to expand things to make them bigger and better.

Dear outsiders,
even the most beautiful of
wildflowers are considered weeds in
the wrong gardens. What another
thinks of you does not dictate your

There are moments when
I know others view me as that weed above in the poem. I decide to grow in a
place that they do not want me to grow. And I plant deep roots so that regardless
if you pull me up … I return again and again. I want to show you that your perfectly
manicured garden lacks heart and soul. It lacks wildness and freedom. It lacks
diversity and fun. That which mankind so carefully creates is not always aligned
with the natural order of life. We want to pretend that we have control over
the chaos that is life. But that is a lie. We have sometimes temporary control over
things and with a lot of effort and time we can cultivate a fabricated world
that is to our egos liking. But the moment we are gone what remains? Over time
slowly that which cannot adapt to the environment without being coddled dies
off and what remains is what are the small echo’s of what was. I remember
coming across an old dilapidated cabin in the Colorado highlands, placed
picturesquely in a meadow by a lake. The cabin had collapsed but one wall stood
tall. When I went to that back wall, there stood the largest rhubarb plant that
I had ever seen. Easily over a hundred years old. Clearly planted by the
settler for food. And it was also still holding up the wall of the cabin. Life
supports the hardy souls. Life supports those that can adapt to the constantly
changing environment. So how are you adapting today? Life is not going to hand
you an easy path. Life is going to challenge you to find your footing and where
you belong. And life is doing that to help you discover that there is always
more to reach for. More to discover. And more to allow into your awareness.
