Numerology/Astrology
for 7/17/18
7/17/18 is the number 8. The number 8 makes you feel
some old grief that is bubbling up. You probably thought you were past
something but that old dragon has reared its head back up and the same pattern
than you hoped and worked so hard to get over is clearly still a problem. The
realization of that is upsetting. When you have loved someone or something
deeply, there are many hooks of attachment and expectation that are still in
place. The ones that surprise you are when your perceptual bubble is one thing
but clearly another person’s bubble is very different. You begin to recognize
that you have been giving more than the other person or situation is ever going
to be willing to give. Even jobs show up this way. My father used to say, “Companies
will pay you what you are willing to take. No company can really afford to pay
you what you are worth.” So today, notice what you are worth. Notice what you
need to shift to bring your value higher up in your own mind. Let go of those
that cannot or will not ever really see your heart and who you are. Yes, it is
going to hurt. Yes, you might need to let go of that job where they do not
recognize your value. Yet, you have to change. But that change is good. So
grieve and let life show you the doorway to those that can see you and will
appreciate your worth.

Astrology
Today
The Moon continues its transit of Virgo until 3:43
PM EDT, harmonizing with the Cancer Sun this morning, encouraging both
confidence and cooperation. It is time to get to work and to get things moving.
Having a structure is very important and sticking to the plan is extremely
helpful for keeping calm.
The Moon enters Libra, bringing your attention to
relationships, balance, and harmony. Moderating, negotiating, and compromise
are themes. You are especially aware of others’ points of view and the opposite
side of the coin, which can lead to indecision.
With the Moon’s square to Saturn this evening,
circumstances will probably bring down your spirit temporarily. It will seem as
if there is so much that you need to do and there is not enough time to get it
all done because of the distractions plaguing you at this time.

Letting go does not mean you stop caring.
It means you stop trying to force others to.

Progress is sometimes something that is very
painful. Like taking the rubble of the moments of destruction in your life and
brick by brick building something new again. And that is the truth. What is old,
sometimes can be repurposed. Sometimes it is broken into so many pieces that
you cannot reuse or restore it. The later, is often easier to deal with then
the effort to take the old and build something new. And just like the great
stone works of art in Peru, once the Spaniards took the great temples apart,
and built their churches, those new buildings were never as magnificent as the
original building. Love and life are like that. The original building is often
one of magic and mystery. Then the destruction happens and what is rebuilt is
never as fabulous as the original dream. But that can become the base for new
things over time.
