Numerology/Astrology for 8/5/17 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 8/5/17
8/5/17 is the number 5. In this moment, you are feeling the reality pushing truth into your consciousness and there are some of you that resent the restriction and responsibility that you must attend to now. The reckless, self-indulgence is finally becoming unpalatable. The milk is souring and life requires you to shift out of a toxic place and perspective and come back to the “real” world. You want your freedom but you have to work within the rules and parameters of this dimension and world. Take a look at your motivation and if you feel as if you are making slow and steady progress….keep going. But if you feel as if you are hanging tightly onto a pattern that is like a sinking ship….there will be a moment when you have to let go of what you believed would save you and swim out into the vast ocean of possibilities. You have five senses for a reason. Those are the tools to move you out of your mind and ego and back into the real world. These moments take courage. These moments require you to make healthy choices. These moments will allow for healing and the choice of mercy and kindness if you are willing to recognize the moment that you must let go and open to a great awareness and truth.
You are still working to find the right use of power and willingness to transform your philosophy and belief system. Take responsibility rather than pushing the blame onto someone else. The Moon in Capricorn of Friday and Saturday is good for practical tasks. Friday evening is the more fun night under this serious Capricorn moon. This is a moment that you crave some order and structure. However, with the Sun sesquiquadrate Chiron this morning and forming a quincunx with Neptune this evening, you may have a hard time focusing long enough to really tackle a task. There can be some difficulties expressing yourself or enforcing your will directly, and some touchiness is possible. Fear of being ineffective can undermine your confidence when it comes to doing new things and making clear or definite decisions. You might feel that others seem to be draining to be around, especially if it's unclear what they want. You could be feeling slightly off or out of sorts if you’ve neglected your spiritual needs. It is time to slow down and adjust.

Quote
In this life,
all you can do is give the gifts that you came to give.
Regardless of whether others see or appreciate your gifts,
know that your gifts are valuable to this world.
In this life you are responsible for finding ways
to help and share what you have learned.
The lesson is to never hold back who or what you are.
Never let others define your personal gift.
Never live your life from fear of being seen in your truth.
Never let the gifts of others hold yours back.

It is through loss that we begin to value life, people, and accomplishments in this world. Often, we lose touch with the specialness of the small things in favor of our big ego moments and peak experiences. But it is the simple kindnesses and soft touches of the “normal” world that we miss when they are gone. We miss the taste of our mother’s home cooking. That special recipe that only she could make that reminded us of our childhood and gave instant comfort to let us know that we are loved. The moment that is gone there is an emptiness and a deep feeling of loss. It is those “human” moments that bring the real love and reality into perspective. A reminder that we need each other and there is great power in simple things. Our modern world complicates so many things and it becomes so technically specialized that we are losing touch with those uniquely human qualities that make life worth living. Today, reach out in a human way to another and listen. Really listen to their words but more importantly their heart. Let that person be seen and heard. Be that human contact that helps them move out of their mind and into their heart and back into this reality where nature and life can heal all things and remind you that you are enough just as you are.
