12/30/16 is the number 6. The number 6 asks you to find the selfless healer within you and allow that to express in the world. In each person’s life we have to sacrifice in order to bring a circulation of new energy into the mix. Doing that with grace and simplicity is essential for finding compromise in a chaotic world. Learning the lessons of tolerance and humanitarian service requires you to step out of your own feelings and into the bigger world where others are suffering more than you. It is always interesting to me that when it comes to generosity, the poor are often more generous than the wealthy. Now, I know that there are many great philanthropists out there who create organizations that give tremendous amounts of money to big things that impact the world for the better but when in comes to normal-daily-gifting based on how much money you make those with less often give more. That is because they know what it is like and they relate more to those because life has broken their heart open to have a greater capacity and depth. So bad times are tools the universe uses to make us expand out of our comfortable spots and stretch into a broader and bigger worldview. Allow yourself to be broken and mended again and again. See the beauty that emerges when you stop trying to protect your ego or your opinions and are willing to put them out there in constructive and honest ways. That is the way you find your power and who you really came here to be. The Sun sextiles Neptune today, and this tends to soften your rough edges. You take things as they come. This influence stimulates your intuition and imagination, as well as a need to attach more meaning to your life and to the lives of others. It sets a great mood for respecting your intuition and relaxing rather than pushing forward. Can you be grateful that you live in times of great struggle? For myself I have to say, a gentle and compassionate, yes. It is not fun to stand up to bullies. It is not pleasant to believe in the goodness of humanity when people use things actively to hurt others who have never done anything to them. It is painful to have people lash out at you for being a voice that is truthful and when you attempt to call others to wakefulness. (Especially when they do not want to see beyond their own distortion.) It is dangerous to be the one standing up when others want to hide their heads and disappear into the vacuous past. But that is what you do when you are holding a light for everyone and everything. It takes great personal power to know in your heart what is right and to know that others want to find fault with others who do not think the same. It takes great clarity to accept others who see differently and not agree with them but to stay again holding the light and love for the hope that is this world and is all of life. I hold the hands of the great teachers that have come before, the great teachers now, and those who also want to stand in the place of offering love regardless of the atrocities that others feel compelled to express because of their own fears and self-hatred. Forever have the “enlightened ones” counseled peace and love. It seems so simple and it is one of the hardest things to do in this plane of existence. I know I do not stand alone. I know that the love I have for the truth is stronger than my fear. I choose to not to fall into illusion and go numb to the hatred that others speak. I choose to not let the toxicity that they are creating to pull this world into deeper pain and suffering. I choose to stand up and stand with those light workers and those that know that only love is the way home.
