Numerology/Astrology for 10/7/16 - Plus Personal Blog

Numerology/Astrology for 10/7/16
10/7/16 is the number 8. Have you recently been disappointed in someone that you were trusting to step into their highest self but they instead lashed out in a reactive pattern that has forced you to re-evaluate your position? This astrology and numerology will do that to you. It takes so much conscious awareness to listen and absorb information rather than blanketly discount information that comes in. We are in a time where we need to learn to listen rather than defend. The reactive mind garbage needs to stop and to be reined in. Reactive actions and words hurt others, create karma, and cause those that love you to step back. Why would someone try if you are attacking them? No one has the energy to deal with your triggers at the moment. Everyone is deeply exhausted with this chaotic emotional energy that we have been nonstop hit with for over a year. There is a phrase I love it says, “Argue for your limitations and sure enough they will be yours.” A closed mind causes hurt and sadness in others. A closed mind cannot be taught. A closed mind will implode to protect the delusions that they hold most sacred. This morning, Mercury enters Libra where it will transit until October 24th. During this cycle, you attempt to be more diplomatic and friendly and you will attempt to bring a more rational approach to one-to-one relationships. It's a good time to think about ways of improving your negotiation skills. In an attempt to see both sides of any given situation, Mercury in Libra can be a vacillating energy and making quick decisions can be a challenge as you may want to sit "on the fence". You may too easily accommodate others' opinions to keep the peace. In your negotiations, you don't want to assert yourself in such a way as to appear to be the "bad guy." However, this is an excellent period for considering others' points of view and opening up conversations. You are driven to find balance and to somehow arrive at fair, reasonable, and objective conclusions. The Sun squares Pluto this afternoon, forcing fears and buried matter to the surface today. Putting faith and trust in people can be difficult. Avoid beating a dead horse and attempting to force issues that should naturally take some time to unfold. Circumstances now can push you to discover your own power - power that comes from a strong sense of self rather than superficial energy derived from manipulating people into doing what you want them to do. It's best to aim for self-control now. The Moon continues its transit of Sagittarius until 4:40 PM EDT when it enters Capricorn, and there is an ambitious, achievement-oriented theme in your life.

Quote
"Often I am more wolf than woman, more wild than tame, and more rebellious than conforming. I love the wildness that is inside my soul. I love expressing it and awakening that wildness in the eyes of others.  Fearlessness does not conform, passion cannot be owned by another, and wildness is my response to constraint.  ~Suzanne Wagner~

There is a huge difference between a conversation and an attack. Learning to discuss from a place of open mind is a hugely valuable tool to create success in life. Reaction comes from ego. Reaction comes from something hitting a bit too close to home. Reaction is a defense posture. Under this astrology if you find yourself doing that, stop, take a breath, step back, and attempt to remain open and just notice what is happening in your body. When you are a complete person and free of emotional triggers because you have done the inner work, then what others say will just pass through you and you become a calm observer in their storm or emotional drama. You recognize that you are okay right now and others disparaging remarks and verbal attacks have nothing to do with you but they have everything to do with them and where they are still stuck and growing. But there is a point where you have to stop the conversation and step back because continuing the conversation serves no one.
