Happy Valentine’s Day, for all the lovers out there. Today is the number 7. Sometimes things are moving so intensely that you wish you had a playbook to keep up with all the shift and changes happening in the game. This is the day where you are compelled to try to put one together. Now, if I have learned anything about the past 8 years with all this very unusual and intense astrology it is that nothing seems to be going as you expect. Every moment requires you to shift and make changes and adjustments. For a moment let’s just admit that we have no idea about where things are going but we know that things cannot stay the same. So we are trying this and trying that attempting to find a doorway into the future that has some type of stability that we can relax in and recognize as a better reflection of who we want to become. The Moon is in steady, constant Taurus all day, and now you become more aware of your needs and desires in the sensual pleasures of life--eating, drinking, listening to music, and so forth. Your emotions are stable, and common sense rules when it comes to handling domestic matters, money, and work. You tend to resist change and to fall back on old habits and patterns under this influence. The Moon harmonizes with Pluto, Chiron, and Jupiter today, providing you with satisfying channels for expressing yourself. An opposition to Mars this evening can upset the calm as you may be grappling with passionate and/or complicated desires. Mercury ends its shadow today, and you may finally see some of your delayed projects finally move forward.

Relationships make us better. Relationships are sometimes the harsh mirror of out inauthentic self. Someone that loves us cannot help but to point out the inconsistency of our behavior or expressions and patterns that work against us. It is difficult to take that look in the mirror at times. We all want to be accepted as we are but there is being blindly accepted as our ego’s presentation or being accepted because the authentic expression of our soul shines brighter than our ego. Everyone wants to be seen but not from what we fabricate that we are. The illusion that you create around yourself is a false self. Often we want others to see us as powerful, capable, and in control. But everyone has doubts, fears, and places where we are still working on healing. That is what life and karma is all about. Your lover has chosen you because they see the true essence of who you are behind the curtain that your ego pushes into the forefront. And true intimacy comes from being willing to show that vulnerability to another and being truly seen. Not as what you want them to see but as you actually are. Why not give that a try? Your love has already glimpsed your inner self and that is what they long to merge with, not some fantasy or illusion but that deeper self that is wounded and is yearning for a love that moves beyond the façade and into essence.
